Again, why aren't we in for Nistlerod?

I would take him over the Cunt any day of the week.....oh, and unlike the cunt, he CAN play upfront alone.

Agreed, both are sicknotes as of late but I'd much prefer a fit Nistelhorse over the cunt.

either we are the best club in the business at keeping sources quiet or nothing is happening.
[/quote]

The latter.

We always shat ourselves every transfer window 'hoping' we get X or Y and end up with fuck all.

I'm sure we've had a sniff at a forward, probably one from Valencia, but there doesn't seem to be any transfer activity at all for the top 4 really, so we're not alone.

I'd expect us to be shipping some shit out by this point at a bare minimum.

we need interest from other teams for that to happen.

Basing a guess, and it is a guess, on whats been said today by rafa and whats been written about our owners finances and those of the club, maybe rafa feels that its time to bring through our youngsters? Maybe this is not such a bad plan at all, the Market is fucking daft at the minute becaue of Real and regardless of how fucked we are or not and we need the money for other things, paying off loan interest getting our shit sorted out for a possible new stadium etc... Rafa is definitely the kind of bloke to be taking the long term view so having been buying in LOTS of youth players for the last few seasons... maybe just maybe we are going to see them bare fruit.

Everything could be aligned just right actually, United weakened etc...

I honestly wouldnt be surprised if we dont get in any star players this summer.
