I think it's unlikely but certainly not beyond the realms of possibility, and I don't see many other names coming forward.
Maybe KopKing has a point; a young up'n'comer maybe the best not candidate, but should Torres spend so long on the sidelines again - something I know you're pessimistic about - I wouldn't want our title challenge to be over, and I think it would be with an inexperienced player.
I'd rather target a good player who's unhappy on the bench than an average 'lucky to be at Liverpool' shmuck.
With Bent I think the balance (and the fee) are about right.
[/quote]Im not concerned because i think that Deadly has progressed enough to convince me that he can do a fine job nowadays. He was great last year, and he is my back up striker. Thats why Silva is perfect for me because he can cover for Riera and Kuyt.
Id rather spend all our cash on rm/lm

Thing is, we'll need Arbeloa to stay so that Johnson can cover Kuyts position, leaving him free to fill in for Fernando Torres. Also depends upon how well Johnson settles but I don't expect that to be a problem.
100% with you on Silva - he's the priority signing. And if Torres manages to stay fit all year, it'll make threads like this an utter waste of time.
