Hart on loan?

It would be like Houllier buying Ince rather than selling him. Hart's not a character you'd want around the dressing room, let alone on the pitch.

Signing Hart would be madness. I don't doubt his general standard of keeping is better than Ming, but the improvement is not large enough to justify the investment, particularly when he has exactly the same weakness that has plagued Ming – poor distribution with his feet.

Mignolet has more weaknesses than his distribution. The Oxlade-Chamberlain goal wasn´t Mignolets fault but I have a feeling a goalkeeper like Hart would have saved it.

Perhaps I´m lifting Hart to a goalkeeper that he isn´t because I really don´t like Mignolet. I hope he can turn his Liverpool career around but I just can´t see it happening.

That's surely no different to saying a keeper like Ming would've saved that goal against Iceland, or Bale's free kick in he Wales game. Both keepers are eminently capable of some howlers.

If he was half as good as he thought he was, he would be world class.

Think fame / hype in last few years and that pumped up feeling he gets prior to game has not helped. He had a shocker in the Euros

He needs to get back to basics as he was decent stopper

You probably are. Never mind the stuff he let in in the Euros, just watch some of the goals he conceded against us in recent seasons.

I bet he won't learn Spanish if he goes there. He'll just adapt by shouting even louder and doubling up the fist pumps.

He's 4/11 on Skybet to end up at Sevilla so I doubt it'll be anything even close to that.

Are you going to answer my question re. source in the other thread or not ?

Sevilla have Sergio Rico so I doubt they'll sign Hart.

From the Beeb today (referring to Everton)

The possibility of Joe Hart arriving on loan from Manchester City is being complicated by the possible £7m cost of a potential season-long loan, with Hart on a reported £135,000-a-week and a loan fee also being involved.

Pretty much every single pundit with knowledge of pep knew the writing was on the wall for Hart.

He is either too stupid or arrogant to see this coming

Koeman said today that there werent any interest in Hart.

The thing is, he was being told to change his game years ago, and he couldn't be arsed to bother working on achieving it. Some reports are implying this is just some sudden demand from Guardiola, but Capello told him to work on the very same things when he was England manager. He did nothing. Mancini demanded the same thing - and again Hart ignored him. I doubt Hodgson was bothered, but every other manager has been nagging Hart to improve this aspect of his game, and Hart's simply ignored them. And now he's acting like it's all such a shock and it's so traumatic - he's only got himself to blame.

Hart just ignored them?

Surely the respective managers have to take some responsibility. If they want players to play a certain way, make sure it's done on the training pitch.

How are the Man City fans reacting to the banishment of Hart, anyone know? Was he well-regarded in these parts?

If we sign Hart after signing Karius, fuck it, if we sign Hart I am done with the fucking committee or Klopp or fucking whoever is in charge. This has got to be bollox. Yeah let's have 3 goalkeepers all having a good ol fanny about who is 1st choice cause we've not been there before.... Or have we?!

When I see Hart in goal for England and picking up £100k+ per week it makes me realise I made a mistake choosing drinking, smoking, eating and women at school. I'm heading towards 40 and I could do as good a job as him and wouldn't be the reported bellend he is either!

We're not signing Joe Hart.

Mark Lawenson just thought it was a good idea, which is probably all the more reason not to sign him.
