Gerrards worst teammate?

He offered a quicker end to WOY, thankfully. I still can't believe I got pounded for not giving the spoofer a chance.

In his autobiography he does specifically mention Diao as being a very poor player so I'll go with that.

Hard to narrow it down any further..........Voronin, Poulsen, El Zahr, Traore and Nunez.

Degen must surely be high up on that list.

He was apparently an important part of the dressing room but Pellegrino must have been pretty awful to play alongside aswell. Slowest player to ever start for us I reckon.

Nunez. Our very own Mr. bean. He was the right sided Downing without pace or any ability

Was it for Serbia that he ran across the touchline after a ball which had gone out of play, and disappeared down a ditch which ran around the pitch?

Balotelli.

Based on his all round shitness. He's not just shit at football, he's shit at everything.

Gerrard usually carries the shit players to victory and trophies. Apart from the day Andrea Dossena had us 2-0 down within the space of a few minutes, as he was being repeatedly raped by Hull City. Or Barnsley, I forget. I couldn't blame Gerrard for deciding to turn away and let it happen that day.

Diouf?

Not only a bit shit, but a cunt of a human being too

Daio was bad. Brendons very own Aspas was terrible, 7 million for that guy. A striker with a crap scoring record in Spain and surprise surprise he was bad here also. What a waste of money.

To be a pedant here: there's a bit of a difference in both of these threads between the question 'which teammate did Gerrard LIKE/DISLIKE the most' and which one was the 'best/worst' FOR him and his game. When it comes to bad players, for example, most of those listed didn't really intrude that much on his own game. Similarly, while Gerrard naturally raved about the goal scorers, I think the choice is more focused on other midfielders if you're looking at who was best for him.

.........................................Mignolet.....................................
.................Degen...............Traore...................Konchesky.................
..................................Poulsen........Diao...............
Nunez.................El Zahr...............Plessis...............Jovanovic
......................................Voronin.................................

For a world class player Stevie has had to put up with some shite.

I went with who I thought Gerrard might pick as the worst he played with. You could tell from the way he played around him that Stevie thought Aly was muck.

If it was the player he disliked most, I'd say Diouf would have had a few mentions by now.
