I would like this but I can't. You understand top lad 😉*Pours half-pint glass of cheap sherry*

Gerrard and Lampard were the two best at that sort of late run into the box and finish in recent years
Nolan was another. Toure?
They're not really that common thinking about it
No clue from me fella. I just hope he works out ok. I trust Klopp more than I trust a bunch of tinterklacking fanboys (present company excepted of course) 🙂So what's the view. Could be good, but who knows? Probably a good signing? nice to have speed and someone who can score goals with his head?
In Jurgen we trust because we've no clue..
His header from outside the area against Anderlecht is still one of my favourite goals, absolutely outrageous header.
Not sure about this one, hope he's not another fits-and-starts player, we already have too many of them. Fingers crossed.

I'm sorry but did we also start discounting Suarez's goals when he scored more than one a match ? And two of those matches were against damn good teams not relegation fodder.4 goals against Norwich
2 goals against us
2 goals against Spurs on the final day
That's 8 goals in 3 games. So 3 goals in 33. Bit average that isn't it?
I had this thought too, but in the end I think we shouldn't be worried too much about this for several reasons: one that Klopp doesn't emphasize possession and "control" in quite the same way as Rodgers and Rafa did, which almost forced the opposition to play that way against us. 2nd reason is that with Matip and other tall players we've added this summer we will improve on set-pieces, so there will be another way for us to break down stubborn defenses.
And finally, there may be too much money and ambition in the EPL for teams to defend in numbers the way they did a few years ago. Last season showed that it's possible for smaller teams to play without fear and win against any opponent, this season with all the top clubs in the rebuilding mode it will be more of the same.
Besides its not like pace and power are useless even in the scenario when we have possession. And even against the most defensive-minded teams in most games there still will be one or two opportunities to counter and you have to have the tools to take advantage.[[/B]
Cloggy. The Dutch KHL !I reckon he's going to be boss myself.
Am I fuck Dutch you cheeky get.Cloggy. The Dutch KHL !

Griezmann is amazing at heading the ball, I think a third or so of his goals are headers, which is highly unusual for a midfielder.
I'm not sure I can agree with the first sentence. We saw it with our own eyes last season and it was emphasised at the Euros, modern managers set up teams not to lose first and foremost and that means well drilled and organised defences. It will be not different, maybe even worse, this season. Football has become predictable and a bit boring if I'm honest.
However whereas last year we were too dependent on Coutinho, once a defence had re-organised, this year we have added far more arrows to the bow with scoring midfielders in Mane and Wijnaldum (and maybe Grujic too if he can get on as sub now and again) and fingers crossed Sturridge stays fit too. That's a lot more firepower.
Agree wholeheartedly with the second sentence. Too often last season we were far too slow on the break and ended up turning back for the safe pass instead of going on full out attack. I'd rather we do the later to at least give us a chance of scoring than as last season and play it safe time and time again, rarely with any end result. We had one of the worst records in the league for shooting off target last season, usually from frustration after we had allowed teams to re-organise.
Ik ben geen Nederlander! Godverdomme! You've already been assimilated mate.
The Euros were boring, no question, but that often happens with national team football – managers have very little time to build a team, so the best they can do is throw down some defensive organization and hope their attacking players create something on their own. EPL will be very different from the Euros and the only safe prediction is that it will be unpredictable (I'll dare to make one prediction though – Guardiola's Man City will be utterly embarrassed by someone next season).
Portugal-Croatia at the Euros was actually a great illustration of the power and threat of the counter-attack. Both teams were much better on the counter than in possession and both managers recognized that and instructed their players to sit back and not give the opponent any opportunity to counter whatsoever. This resulted in possibly the most boring 115 minutes of football I have ever seen, but with penalties looming, Croatia finally took the initiative and went forward in numbers in the last 5 minutes of extra time; they almost scored (hit the post, I believe) and immediately conceded the winning goal on Portugal's only counter-attack of the game. That's why the counter or even the threat of it can be so deadly, if you have that weapon.

Suarez scored bloody over 30 a season. This lad scored 11, 8 of which came in 3 games. I don't think he's a prolific scorer.
