i know that drogba and villa are excellent strikers but no other striker in the world can play with so little support (no support at all mostly) from the rest of his team mates and manage to score the quality and number of goals torres scores amazing. Rafa is extremely lucky to have this lad bail him out of trouble time after time .

I have just watched the goal about 20 times in the last hour on SSN.
And I still get goosebumps. I fucking love this man. With all my ballbags. Ever.

My favourite will always be the Chelsea goal; the way he burst past and shot in from an acute angle..I'd been so used to shit strikers at Liverpool that I literally could not believe we'd done that.

A couple of points...

3.28: He does what Pele couldn't 😉

4.02: I remember watching that thinking he'd badly overhit the cross. Not only did Fernando some how reach it, he managed to head it back across goal and in.

What a guy.
