FA Cup - Arsenal

I was sure Flamini was banned. He got four games three games ago.

It's a bit confusing. The 3 games was for the red. The extra game was speculated, based on the fact that he'd gotten a 1 game ban for accumulating 5 yellows before end December. Apparently, there was some rule that could have applied to a player copping a suspension after having been suspended previously.

When he first got the red, it was widely reported to be a 4-game ban. The last few reports I've read have been saying he'll be back as it was just 3 games. Looking at the FA site, it doesn't show Flamini as being suspended anymore. So I guess he's cleared to play.

Fuck all you superstitious naysayers ! We will win 1-2 or 1-3.

Odds : 8/5 Home, 9/5 Away, 13/5 Draw

It feels good to be able to watch a game against a top top side without feeling all stressed out our title chances / falling out of the top 4. Looking forward to this. Hope there're plenty goals (at least at their end)

I'd love to see the likes of Ibe, Rossiter, Texeira and Smith on the bench/getting some late minutes today.

Will be interesting to see how Arsenal line up. Looks like they could make 6-7 changes.

That may actually do them a favour. Means less of the team that may be carrying mental scars from that mauling will be playing & those that are will be eyeing up a first team place for their glamour tie on Tuesday.

‘Liverpool were the best team I’ve played against this season.
‘Jordan Henderson was tough this year. He’s got a great attitude to football. He’s not nice to play against. You walk off and you’re knackered.
‘Coutinho was good. Suarez can be unreal. His brain seems to work quicker than that of other players. He’s on the ball and you think, ''What are you doing?'' and all of a sudden he’s gone.’
Wilshere reserved special praise for England teammate Steven Gerrard, saying: ‘His passing range is still amazing, the best in the Premier League.’

nice quotes from wilshere . right, let's crush the fucker and make him cry.

It's great. I don't feel any jitters at all about this - just pure excitement and confidence ....... and I bet that's what the lads are feeling too.
