Look - cornerhouse are offering money for 'microcommissions' for the AND festival this summer.

I've just put together a proposal for an installation called 'John Terry Burning To Death In A Skip'. I hope it gets commissioned!

I'll miss some games cause I'll be in work.

Ireland and Germany have two weekend games though. Nice.

I really wish Ireland weren't playing Croatia first. Get nothing from that and we'll be fucked basically. Think we will really struggle against them too. Would much rather be playing Italy first

We're off to Spain on holidays with another couple just at the start of the Euro's, we've already told the girls that they won't see much of us while the football is on, they seem fine with this.

Can't wait to watch Spain v Ireland in some local tavern, I plan to let the locals buy me consolation beers.

Denmark's squad (still three spots open)

Goalkeepers: Thomas Sørensen (Stoke), Stephan Andersen (Evian), Anders Lindegaard (Manchester United)

Defense: Daniel Agger (Liverpool), Simon Kjær (AS Roma), Andreas Bjelland (FC Nordsjælland/Twente), Lars Jacobsen (FC København), Simon Poulsen (AZ Alkmaar), Daniel Wass (Evian), Jores Okore (FC Nordsjælland)

Midfield: Niki Zimling (Club Brügge), William Kvist (Stuttgart), Christian Poulsen (Evian), Christian Eriksen (Ajax), Lasse Schøne (Ajax), Michael Silberbauer (Young Boys), Jakob Poulsen (FC Midtjylland), Thomas Kahlenberg (Evian), Dennis Rommedahl (Brøndby), Michael Krohn-Dehli (Brøndby), Tobias Mikkelsen (FC Nordsjælland)

Attack: Nicklas Bendtner (Sunderland), Nicklas Pedersen (Groningen)

Another striker will be picked as well but it's hard to say whom as we're really struggling in that department. Personally I hope for 20-year-old Simon Makienok (Brøndby).

*Nicolai Boilesen won't make it due to his injury sadly.

Jores Okore, central defender from FC Nordsjælland, and Groningen striker Nicklas Pedersen has been picked concluding the squad. Big surprise with Okore to be honest, will do him a world of good training alongside Agger of course 🙂

I think youll find I mentioned him earlier in the who should we sign thread Kris.
BOOM!

I can't make up my mind who to support in the Euros. It was going to be the Germans but the CL final changed all that for me.

Ze -germans mos def, and some underdog maybe Ireland.
Of course I'll keep an eye on Sweden, but its a shit team.

It's getting quite tricky. I want to support a side that has a chance but are not the favourites + does not contain any players i can't stand.

So....

Portugal
England
Germany
Spain
Holland
France

I guess that leaves me with Italy.

I always support italy truth be told. I just dont see them lasting very long this year.
France, Germany, Holland and Spain are just miles apart from the rest.

Yeah i'd usually be happy to back the french, but i can't bring myself to do it whilst Evra is about (same with Holland/Robben tbh).

The world cup is so much easier for me, it's always Argentina.

I live over here but will luckily be in Poland for the group games. I leave the night after the last game. I imagine the Irish squad won't be too far behind me!

You're forgetting your close neighbours...

Surprised no one (that I've noticed) has mentioned Poland, they're a decent team in a competition with few top teams, and with home advantage and a weak group they should easily qualify for the last 8.

If they get to the last 8 then home advantage will be an even bigger advantage and I can realistically see them getting to the final.

They are 55/1 (on Betfair) at present but IMO they should only be about 30/1.

I've had a small few quid on Lewandowski at 50s for top scorer so I hope your right.
Did you have a bet on anyone for the Golden Boot yet?

Not yet Leo although I wouldn't be surprised if the top scorer came from Group A and a Pole would seem likely from that group and Lewandowski would seem their obvious choice.
