Fucking hate to see Utd go through and not good for us to have Arsenal suddenly playing only in the league and CL. They will finish top 8 in that so plenty of weeks where they will only have 1 game of week for the next couple of months.

They lost Jesus and Jorginho today. Plus the mental fatigue of losing on pens going into a derby. This was always going to be a hard month for them and it will carry on being hard with a thinner squad.
Spurs were even worse and went to extra to non league opposition. Arsenal will batter them and after picking themselves up off the floor will be totally focused on the league.
Of course we are still firm favourites but it would have been better for them to stay in the cup imo.
Arsenal are absolutely fucking shite though.
They were in command of the title 2 years ago.....they got knocked out FA cup in Feb, knocked out Europa league in March.....all the while still leading the race and still bottled the title. Dropped 6 points 3 games in a row to us, West Ham and Southampton. & this was when they went the whole season without an injury.
They are serial bottlers. Their football is rank, Arteta is a fraud and Odegaard is finished. They are going nowhere.
Spurs didn’t go full strength either on what was a tight mongy pitch. Arsenal are going to be fucked and even if they beat spurs I don’t expect it to be easy.
Exactly, but Ange fucked up by not bringing his subs on sooner - they could have done it in 90 minutes if he had done. But that Arsenal team, other than Rice on the bench. was basically the strongest side they could put out. And they lost two more players to injury.
Timber as well. Was seen complaining about a hamstring issue when substituted.

Calafiori was ruled out before the game with a muscle injury. But he’s Italian so it was a given in all honesty.
There’s truth in the theory.
Five of Spurs' starters were on the bench until extra time though. Whereas Arsenal started with their full strength team on the pitch (bar Rice). Hopefully that will make a difference.
