Ireland squad: Given, Westwood, Forde, Dunne, O’Shea, St.Ledger, O’Dea, Ward, Kelly, Foley, Whelan, Gibson, Andrews, Fahey, Duff, McGeady, Hunt, McClean, Keane, Doyle, Cox, Long, Walters.
Standby: Randolph, McShane, Green, Coleman, Keogh
In an ideal world Jonny Evans, Aaron Hughes, Steven Davis and Chris Brunt would also be getting on the plane to Poland.
I agree on all counts with irishred; firstly that the squad he has picked looks considerably stronger than the one Trapp has picked BUT that it's difficult to argue with Trapp's selection given that he steered a very average squad through a tough qualifying group.
