Hmm...Shaw, Henderson, Wishere, Cahill, Jagielka and Stones are all in based on reputation. Considering their lack of playing time or form etc, i'm pretty sure someone better could have been selected in their place.

Wilshere is a good player and has been getting fit for a few weeks now. No stranger than Sturridge being in there.
I would take Wilshere with me. Not like we have many good CMs to be honest. Id probably be less inclined to take Henderson who has been shit when fit.

Shaw, Wilshere, Henderson, even the likes of Rooney, Sterling and Sturridge are lucky to be included really.

Sturridge lucky to be included?! He's been fit and scoring goals for weeks now, and Kane is the only striker who comes close to his natural ability. As for Sterling, he's a cunt, but who would you rather?

Wilshere is a strange one. I obviously haven't watched him week in and out, but he does seem a player that many think is far better than he is.
He doesn't score goals, doesn't really create them, and he plays like he thinks he has this amazing change of pace, but actually doesn't, so he just gets tackled all the time.

Fatass Luke Shaw over Rose is completely laughable, almost as funny as Shaw trying to stay fit between the end of the season and the start of the Euros.

There is no one else though. Its a back up role in Midfield.
Dier and Alli will be first choice then Milner, then Berkeley. Its hardly make or break who our 5th choice midfielder is.
And I beleive Rose is injured.

i think the fear is that Wilshere actually is going to be first choice, as the most defensive midfielder on the pitch. A role Jack has been preparing for by watching videos of Xabi Alonso, as opposed to actually playing there.
