Liverpool fans want to see Jurgen Klopp's side go forward with a 4-4-2 that includes Jon Flanagan and Adam Lallana - but there is no room for James Milner.
We deliberated over the dilemmas that face the Reds boss for the rest of the season as his injury list begins to shorten.
With that in mind, we asked what the club's strongest 11 is - if everybody, excluding Danny Ings and Joe Gomez, who won't return until next season, was fully fit.
We received thousands of votes with the most popular formation chosen being a 4-4-2.
There is no room for Alberto Moreno, Martin Skrtel or James Milner, while Flanagan is given the nod on the left.
Fans also want to see an attack-minded front four of Lallana, Philippe Coutinho, Daniel Sturridge and Firmino, which means no Milner in the starting line up.

That can basically be 4-5-1 with Firmino behind Studge ... I like that team, but would prefer - based on form - Toure and Lovren.

Klopp doesn't and probably won't play either 4-4-2 or 4-5-1, and Lovren and Sakho need to be the other way round.

Odd that Milner doesn't get a place in the best XI and Lallana does. And 4-4-2 requires a lot of pace from the wide positions, which neither Lallana nor Coutinho have.

And Sakho? As if.

We probably won't ever see that team play anyway, given that Klopp's going to have 4 or 5 new players next season

The best eleven individuals don't fit Klopp's system, which is why this kind of poll is horseshit. I wouldn't have picked a much different best eleven, but there's no way I'd pick a 4-4-2

I don't really think a 4-4-2 works in modern football and can't wait for Ryan Giggety Giggs to prove it.
