Different Gravy

Some in the didn't work out pile made us loads in transfer fees like Solanke, SVDB, Carvalho etc, while some in the did a job pile like Ox and Thiago costs us loads, recouped very little and were arguably signings we should not have made.

Oh, I missed Thiago - yeah he was a shit signing. One of the worst we made during his time.

Thiago held the midfield together when we had no centre-backs or central midfielders for months. While Alisson got us into the Champions League, we wouldn’t have stood a chance without Thiago during that period.

A terrible signing overall, no doubt, but his contributions during those three or four months were crucial in securing Champions League revenue. It's like arguing who's shit smells sweeter, but I have Keita as far worse. The most he gave us a MOTM against Crystal Palace and a fan a new football in the CL final.

Played well in that game against Barcelona!!!
I don't think he did actually.
I watched the entire game back a few years ago and he was pretty poor.
The commentary was extremely critical of him throughout the game, or at least until he put in that cracker of a cross for Gini's second goal

Cube was great, not fit enough but a budget signing who contributed. Seen a lot worse since with a fair few pretenders.

That first time cross off a Trent long ball dropping perfectly for Mo on a fast break against West Ham.

Wand of a left peg, no idea why he didn't do more for us.
