Diego Costa the vampire man

Would be much better if Barry had said the kiss on the neck didnt mean anything and that there was nothing going on between them.

Considering how he played with Mourinho and how he's played with Hiddinik, likely destination: PSG, Atleti, or some club in Italy.
Lukaku will be after a big money move; imho that rules out Atleti & the Italian clubs. Psg is definitely a possibility, as are City & Chelsea, but no guaranteed starts, leaving only United who are desperate for a clinical striker.

I was talking about Costa.

Agreed, Suarez brought much of it, if not all, on himself.

Plus he wasn't hounded out. He tried to join Arsenal the summer before and was always going to leave when he did, as everyone knew.

His World Cup bite was actually a hindrance and a silly mistake that could have jeopardised his dream move to Barca.

Well, Barca were looking at him at Ajax but dropped out after his bite and suspension there. We only got the chance of signing him because of it. It's bonkers to think he deliberately bites people to make himself a more attractive signing.

But some fucking morons actually believe it was a calculated, premeditated act designed to expedite his move to Barcelona.

I know! Fucking hilarious

Yeah, that's why Suarez left. Hounded out, he was.
I should have said try, because I don't think he left because of them, he left because of Barcelona, however the press demonised him and clearly wanted him gone, it's interesting to see how Diego's bite has received such little attention comparatively.

Much of what? If (as I would agree) Suarez wasn't hounded out, there was no "it" to "bring on himself" in the first place. I do agree with Mystic to the extent that there were accusations that Suarez was a worse diver than anyone else, which was garbage. He did dive, but no more than lots of other players.

Costa has had his fair share of media opprobrium and post-match referee punishment. Which is part of why he wants to leave the UK.

And I suspect the media uproar about his biting incident is a bit less than Suarez because it wasn't a bite and he hadn't done it several times before.

Simple really

Correct. He isn't even a dirty player. In his career he lost his head three times. That is more or less one time every third year. He don't do reckless tackles, elbows in the head, headbutting and things like that. As you say, he dives but not more than anyone else. He is one of the best team players ever and I have never seen a better leader on the pitch.

The Evra gate, well, no evidence at all. Evra changed his story a few times. That says it all. No camera picked up anything. Strange that considering that the final version that Evra probably imagined up was that Suarez had run after him and shouted the racist word a few times. Not a single fan at the ground had heard anything.

The most silly thing when it comes to diving is that defenders do it a lot more than attacking players but when they do it it is called excellent defending. Carra would never admit it but he dived a few times every game for example.

I find it amazing how every liverpool fan ignores the fact that when Suarez denied calling Evra a nigger , he explained it to the ref by saying he called him negro instead.

Suarez's own words were the evidence.

Negro isn't racist in South America and that is what counts. It isn't even that racist in the UK. Many language experts have said that it isn't a racist word and many of them are black. Many of them have also said that it is a racist word. No one can say for sure that it is racist because no one know 100% that it is.

Is negro a racist word, yes and no are both the correct answer.

If you ban someone for racism then you must be 100% sure, not 99%. The reason is that the player must live with that his/her whole life. If he comes back playing in the PL then it is now ok by to call him a racist because the FA found him guilty. The media can call him that because of that for example. The fans can call him a racist.

That's nonsense Arn. To be found guilty of a crime, it must only be proven beyond a reasonable doubt - not beyond a shadow of a doubt.

The whole Suarez issue was a farce - but due to the whole circus around it and a general lack of evidence and cultural differences.

He called him a 'negrito' - Which while it refers to someone of darker skin in Uruguay it's supposed to be an affectionate term (according to Gus Poyet anyway) I don't know how true that is or whether it justifies him in anyway but I just thought I'd throw it out there. Having said he must have known he'd take it badly.

Nope. Negrito isn't mentioned a single time by Suarez in evidence.

It was only mentioned in an lfc press release

Well you're the solicitor so you'd know. A quick check on wiki I found this.

However, in Spanish-speaking countries where there are fewer people of West African slave origin, such as Argentina and Uruguay, negro (negra for females) is commonly used to refer to partners, close friends[17] or people in general, independent of skin color.

It's all muchness of a muchness though - In this country it's a racist term and he must have known that. Plus it's a fucking dull topic. I want Arn to post again so I can threaten him with my tongue..

By the way, when the heck is UEFA going to make a decision on the dirty git Fellaini? He surely should be banned before Thursday. I don't know why the media haven't yet made a point of highlighting the antics of this elbowing twat. He's basically created his own personal space in games by making all opponents aware they'll probably get a broken nose or fractured cheekbone if they go anywhere near him. He should have about twenty red cards by now, yet on he goes. Incredible.

You don't have the time to do it. I spied on you yesterday and took a picture when you did this.
