Here' s the last thread in this series. The previous one @roadred got it right with 26 points, the rest of us bottled it with a lack of faith or some went for 30/30. 26 points is an amazing run. none could have really forseen it except for the special... roadred (kneels)

Heres the run in..

whats your predictions? points and game by game

Mar 22 11:00 ET Cardiff City 1 v 2 Liverpool Cardiff City Stadium Premier League
Mar 26 4:00 ET Liverpool 2 v 0 Sunderland Anfield Premier League
Mar 30 11:00 ET Liverpool 2 v 0Tottenham Hotspur Anfield Premier League
Apr 6 11:00 ET West Ham United 2 v 2 Liverpool Upton Park Premier League
Apr 13 8:30 ET Liverpool 2 v 2 Manchester City Anfield Premier League
Apr 20 7:00 ET Norwich City 1 v 5 Liverpool Carrow Road Premier League
Apr 27 9:05 ET Liverpool 2 v 0 Chelsea Anfield Premier League
May 3 10:00 ET Crystal Palace 2 v 3 Liverpool Selhurst Park Premier League
May 11 10:00 ET Liverpool 4 v 1 Newcastle United Anfield Premier League

23 out of 27 for me...

I also got 26, i think we'll probably do the same again. 1 loss, 1 draw and the rest wins. We'll beat Chelsea but i think City are gonna win the title

0-3 Cardiff City v Liverpool
4-0 Liverpool v Sunderland
2-0 Liverpool v Tottenham Hotspur
0-2 West Ham United v Liverpool
2-1 Liverpool v Manchester City
1-4 Norwich City v Liverpool
2-1 Liverpool v Chelsea
0-3 Crystal Palace v Liverpool
3-1 Liverpool v Newcastle United

Bloody hell. Can we truly win the lot ? On form, yes. If we can keep to the level we are at now, yes. If our level drops a tad for whatever reason (tiredness, loss of form, injuries) then no. Luck is going to play it's part in the big matches too (red cards, pens, injuries, deflections, referring aberrations) but we are at home for all of them and we shouldn't be worried about any team in the bottom 8, they are there for a reason and their nerves (re. relegation) will be worse than ours (if we start to show them).

Christ lads. One game a week as well. Except for next week. Really good for fielding the best 11 without needless rotation,

1-2 Cardiff City v Liverpool
4-1 Liverpool v Sunderland
2-0 Liverpool v Tottenham Hotspur
1-1 West Ham United v Liverpool
2-2 Liverpool v Manchester City
0-5 Norwich City v Liverpool
2-0 Liverpool v Chelsea
0-2 Crystal Palace v Liverpool
3-2 Liverpool v Newcastle United

23

For me. Think West Ham might slow us down with their kicks and hoofs

I think timing will be important.. We'll be playing a Spurs side with nothing to play for (no chance of 4th and there is little difference between 5th and 6th.). Just a shame they are now out of the EL as that might have distracted them further.

I think West Ham are safe so they may also be an easier opponent. Palace away may be a toughy if they are right in the relegation battle.

I haven't been fully following the Champions League - are Chelsea still in it? If so, hopefully they will have a heavy fixture list around then. Also hope that Ramires is still banned!

I think we will draw the Chelsea game but win the other home games and draw to either West Ham or Palace. Most likely Palace.

Re: Palace though, if we are in the title hunt at that point, we will fucking murder them!

What about timing?

Meant in the sense of the time of their season that we play opponents. e.g. playing palace 2nd to last game of season when they could be battling relegation would make it harded (potentially). Playing Spurs later when they have nothing to gain from winning is better for us than if they needed a win to get 4th etc.

I know. It made more sense when you had the same post loads of times.

2-3 West Ham United v Liverpool
2-1 Liverpool v Manchester City

Fuck it, unrealistic maybe but we are on a roll and the players are bang up for this.

I predicted 28 points from the last lot so was only 2 points out and I predicted we'd score 30 goals in those 10 games and that was bang on!

The reason I've gone 5-1 for the last game is because I think, if we're going to win the league, we'll win it at Palace. Unfortunately I think if we need to beat the Toon to win the league we'll blow it due to the scale of the occasion

Liverpool 2 - 1 Man City
Norwich 0 - 5 Liverpool

A lot of 23 pointer predictions there... And then a lot of 30 pointers. The belief is back.

City, Chelsea, spurs - we're not as intimidated as we once were. It must be the mauling a we gave arse, Manu and spurs - along with beating the minnows.

Feck, I can't believe it. Mid march and we're still in the title race and close to CL qualification!!!

1-4 Cardiff City v Liverpool
2-0 Liverpool v Sunderland
3-0 Liverpool v Tottenham Hotspur
1-2 West Ham United v Liverpool
3-1 Liverpool v Manchester City
0-2 Norwich City v Liverpool

25 more pts.

Finish on 87, a point ahead of City.
