Hospitality was very quiet last night, loads of no shows, we had about a dozen seats between four of us. The boxes in the main stand looked very quiet, massive chunks of seats empty, like entire boxes and tables had cancelled, probs only about a third full. Never seen it like that, can't see them playing in front of a crowd at all next week.

It's probably for the best, overall. Selfishly hoping our match on Sunday doesn't get postponed, since it's the last one I can watch with mates down the taproom before I go for a month of working away

The Premier League do realise they can't keep on postponing games right?

Easy void and resume new season in August or carry on & stop fannying around.

Wolves with some new cases today. Their game against Chelsea could be called off as well.

Serie A: 98% of players double vaccinated.

Ligue 1: 95% of players double vaccinated.

Bundesliga: 94% of players double vaccinated.

La Liga: 90%+ of players double vaccinated.

Premier League: 68% of players doubled vaccinated.

Only one league with fixtures being cancelled.

Isn't our 1st team squad 100% double vaccinated?

Omicron is mainly being found in the vaccinated

Shhhhhhh, grown ups are talking in this thread. You’ve got your own thread in the GC were you can spam and post wrong information.

Approx. 80% of those currently hospitalized for Covid are unvaccinated.

Of the approx. 20% in hospital for Covid who are vaccinated, 90%+ have additional, pre-existing conditions that we've known all along would be big factors in hospitalization and mortality rates, vaccine or no.

The average age of those who are vaccinated and currently hospitalized is 66.

The average rate of those who are unvaccinated and currently hospitalized is 38.

Vaccinations do NOT eradicate the virus. We know that. We never expected them do. But they do enormously reduce our chances of both catching and passing on the virus, and if vaccinated and infected, the chances of ending up hospitalized are incredibly small and the chances of dying are practically non-existent.

These are the facts.

Try what again , you invented a straw man argument.

This vaccine does not reduce infection or transmission levels at all.

You're more likely to have covid now if you're vaccinated.[/QUOTE]

Hadn't heard this. Where is this info from?

Last week my mate who works in govt said Gove was gonna come out talking heavier restrictions the next day, and at 6pm the next day he did. Apparently he wants to look tough on everything even though he doesn't give a shit, he's trying to capitalise on how shite Boris is doing and launch a leadership bid at some point. Anyways, at the same time she said that there's a two week lockdown planned early in January. I know these things are subject to change on any given day but that was how it was last week.

So this is in all the papers now. Funny how they always pretend it's a reaction to new stuff when they decided it over a week ago

Facts that don't fit the agenda of a small and loud minority of knobheads.
