He is pulling every shot. Needs to open up his body as he shoots. When he gets this he will be frikken awesome.

I agree with what you're saying about it being sensationalist. Putting Coutinho at #3 on a list of disappointing anything is pretty silly. Once you get past that, however I don't think there is too much to disagree with, perhaps bar their final (sensationalist) conclusion.
 
What a crock of crap - it was always going to be harder for him after his first half season now that teams have studied how to negate him. By and large he's still been good.
However, his shooting does leave a lot to be desired - the cynic might say he's attempting to score some eyecatching long range goals which may provoke a call up.

Considering he hasn't reached those heights that he reached in the first half, I can understand why he made the list ... I still think he's a lovely player and he's going to get better. However, he's struggled to be as consistently brilliant as he was 'last' year.
 
I don't think we're as reliant on him as last season, because Henderson has progressed and now can contribute to our attacking game. Coutinho's fluffed a few sitters this season. but he still never fails to impress me every time he pulls on a red-shirt. I'm not disappointed with him at all. I'm delighted to have such a talented, young and skillful player. Frankly, Footie365 can fuck off.
 
this assessment is laughably bad as others have said, the company he is this list is full of losers, whereas coutinho has been very effective albeit not as scintillating as when he arrived.

Listen, I think coutinho CAN be a player who Brazil can actively rely on in the World Cup ... That's how highly I rate him as a player. That's why I'm slightly disappointed in how poor his finishing this year has been - other than that, he's been good but there's so much more in his locker I believe.

No ones doubting that, just saying he hasn't been disappointing in the slightest this season, or this year. He's never been particularly prolific, that'll come with time though.
 
I feel LTW should have been up front about this list as told us it was compiled by a woman.

Utterly stupid article. The lad is still a lad and a bargain to boot. Give him time to settle and he could be a proper find. It's clear that he has bags of talent. Great signing.
