Kenny has recently been singing Comolli's praised in the signing of both Suarez and Carroll so he must be doing something right.
However, I did think that we were slow in bringing in re-inforcements in January. Not entirely sure though if that's down to Comolli or availability of the right kind of players for our club.

I'm led to believe kenny has final & ruling say on all transfers, which has to be good.
Doesn't it go along the lines of:
KK "I need to fill x/y/x positions"
DC: "These are the top 3 players in postions x/y/z that we think you should authorise to sign"
KK "I'll take him, him and him"
KK "I need to fill x/y/x positions"

I believe this was in his contract though, to save any 'misunderstandings'. I like it. Comolli's insight & knowledge but all without undermining Kenny.

That arrangement makes perfect sense and would be the only way it can work.
We have to do things right the first time to get in players that are not only of the required high standards needed but the right fit for the club, in order to bridge the gap and give us a fighting chance for silverware.
