Will we see him in a Liverpool shirt again? And should we?

i honestly don't know how i feel

on his day, he's a passing mastermind

On his off days...which sadly there were a few of.... he's a ball wasting waddler.

So....Pass

He's just too slow for my taste and I'm not talking about pace. Alonso was slow as well but he could play short passes and long passes in a high tempo and protect the back four.
Adam just fucks with our momentum. He wants to be Gerrard but he's not as agile. He wants to be Alonso but he's not as smart. SELL.
(I know I'm being harsh)

I thought he'd do better with us - but he just doesn't seem right. He shoots too much, especially when he has better options with the pass. On his day, he's a brilliant passer but those were few. He's a very average tackle (I know, I'm being lenient on him). I say sell, and any minutes we'd have given him next year, give to Shelvey or Coady. It will be far more valuable to our future.

has no clue when to hold onto the ball, plays with his head down, attempts passes that achieve nothing other than us losing possesion, can't tackle, runs like he is running through tar, his set peices (lauded as worth 10 million) have been fucking SHITE.
get rid asap, I have no idea what the FUCK kenny was thinking with this signing.

I do have a little weep inside when he goes on those Milan Baros style runs, and just barges people out of the way, whilst generally losing the ball. It's like the Charlie Adam barrel roll.

He looked good at Blackpool, and looked very good against us (and plenty of clubs, including Spurs, were very keen to sign him). Before Lucas was injured he was doing okay as far as I was concerned. I'd like to see if he can learn and improve here next season.

i must admit i was enjoying watching him for a few games there before Lucas got injured . Now i have no idea if his sudden drop in form had any relation to that , i suppose you can use that as an excuse for a few games but not half a bleedin' season after ! .

I guess the biggest indication of his worth is that now he is out nobody gives a fuck or even mentions him as missing . I'd imagine that would be the case for downing, henderson and half our team sadly . And there's just something about him that makes you not like him .

ah what am i waffling about ....SELL !

someone needs to show adam a video of his typical game.

'when you were in space, unchallenged, with plenty of time on the ball, you did THIS...'

'when we were through on goal with players queuing up, you did THIS...'

I remember reading that adam is an intelligent player but he isn't, more often than not he'll choose the wrong option. fuck him off asap and sweep the whole sorry episode of his liverpool career under the carpert.

Neil is scaring me....he's like Peter Parker in Spider man 3, when he almost became Venom.

I'd keep him as a squad player, on the assumption that Lucas, Gerrard and another are the first choice. Frankly I'm much more concerned about Henderson

He was very good for Blackpool in a 4-3-3 system. He has struggled a bit in our 4-4-2, but he was good unitl Lucas got injured.

I'd wait regarding selling him or not til we have established what kind of system and tactics we'll deploy and use.
He'll be good in a 4-3-3, and worth keeping.

He's clearly got ability and, as has been previously mentioned, has suffered since Lucas has been out. He went from being a big fish in a small pond to quite the opposite and therefore should be afforded some patience and time to adjust. I think his best position for Liverpool is left midfield where he can ping early deep crosses with that great left foot.

He's had a few bad games, a few meh games, and some very good games, usually against top opposition. When we were being torn to shreds by the scum at theirs he came on and changed the game, got us a goal and created a chance that could have earned us a draw we didn't even nearly deserve. He has a more than decent assist rate, and before he was injured created more scoring opportunities than anyone else in our team. Some of his assists have been really memorable passes. I know lots of people don't like him, particularly when he's wasteful, which I admit he can be. But he also often makes things happen, which is a quality I love about him. Some people were blaming him for all our woes before he was injured, and they've continued to slate him instead of the people who have done significantly worse in his absence.

As to his runs (lamented above), they've created a few chances this season, and a few goals too, if I remember right. He's a player with some excellent qualities, who can get even better with a bit of discipline. He and Lucas were beginning to look like a very good pairing before we lost him. I'd like to see more of them together, and at the very worst, i think Adam remains an option to have on the bench who has the potential to change a game for the better (as he did against the scum).

Adam more or less needs the team built around him in order to be effective and he's not good enough for a team with Liverpool's ambitions to justify the effort.

I'm not sure whether he's worth keeping around as a squad player either. It depends on how highly we all rate Shelvey and Henderson. If the general consensus is that they are going to be here for the long-term, we should have them as our squaddies and bin Adam off.

Adam is a tricky one to call. I loved and loathed him at different stages this season. He was very indulgent at times and wasteful but on the other hand he had drive, passion and ambition. He was forming an effective partnership with Lucas until he (Lucas) got injured. The Chelsea games stick out, he was excellent in that game. They both were.

No one can say he didn't care this season and he had the balls to try stuff when Henderson allowed games to drift him by. He has a decent haul of assist too. He needs to watch Gerrard first touch game and move the ball quickly when it's needed. Adam was indulged at Blackpool, he won't be here and he needs to work on his decision making to be an effective player for us. I still think he'd do well elsewhere if we sold him as he seems to be a very motivated player.

He need to play alongside Lucas to be effective and for 8million it wasn't a risky signing at all. We should keep Chuck, not spunk that 8 mil (rumoured) on Elm and put the money towards a sexy attacker to help Suarez terrorise defenses.
