Can Suso help the team right now as Raheem has done?

I just don't see it. At least, not yet.
Admittedly I've seen little of him but even when I saw him live versus Roma at Fenway over the summer he was completely unremarkable.

He was, though the game before against Toronto he was arguably the best player on the pitch.

I think that's only half of it and probably does him a disservice. His touch takes players out the game and gives him the extra yard straight away and then there's his awareness. He's not erratic like your typical winger, especially for his age, he's always looking, always knows where his team mates are and knows when to hold up the play, when to play people in and when to take people on. He's quality.

Watch his eyes. WATCH HIS EYES!

In Fifa 2012, I have assembled this years squad (Yessil, Assaidi et al) and I have found it much easier to get Sterling into my team than Suso.
Sterling has made 16 starts and scored 4 goals.
Su-su-suso is still making sporadic sub appearances.

Simply because we have NO wingers and a shitload of CM's.

Carragher, Henderson and Downing are unhappy.

You just have Rogers syndrome, give the kid a chance!
I have played him a few times yo. He has little impact though.
My starting 11 is
Reina
Kelly
Agger
Skrtel
Johnson

Lucas
Allen
Sahin

Sterling
Suarez
Gerrard

"I thought young Suso was outstanding as well, a real talent and the type of player I like. He's exciting and once he adds goals to his game he's going to be outstanding.
- Rodgers

Heh. Silly Rodgers.

I thought he was more effective when pushed out wide right. He has the ability to leave players on their arses. If he can learn to keep his head and use the ball better in more advanced, dangerous positions I'd like to see him play there.

I was really worried after preseason that Rodgers didn't rate Suso.
Glad he had a few moments where he showed his quality, and glad Rodgers came out with the praise.
Hope he can push his way into the squad.
The lad is quality and we need to get him on a long term contract.

Our future Iniesta needs to sign a five year contract before he becomes Barca's new Iniesta.

Suso is a star in the making. The guy is going to get better and better with games and when he gets stronger. Definitely think he has more potential than sterling if he works at his game and stays level headed.

Like him - but he strikes me as one not to look behind him - know what I mean ? could be liability or our version of Adam Johnson.

He chnage the game. pacheco was good but lost for a long time, running around. suso is good on and off the ball. lovely.

It's just lovely to see Suso finally get his chance and shine.

He's a fucking superstar in the making.

As Modo said though, he better be our next Iniesta before he becomes Barca's.

I hope he's on the bench ahead of Downing now in every game. Downing, as I've said in other threads, needs a change of scenery. He has no confidence, and just doesn't provide anything despite really wanting to/trying. I feel bad for the lad, but sentiments shouldn't have him on the bench ahead of Suso - a player who has confidence and the ability to change games.
