CAN LIVERPOOL PULL OFF 'OPERATION JOSE'?

For those in this thread yearning for lovely flowing football like Arsenal, it's important to note that Liverpool, apart from perhaps the Beardsley and Barnes team, have never played like that. The great teams were ruthlessly efficient and knew how to shut up shop when they had a lead.

Perhaps you picked the wrong club to support.

This same shit day in and day out.

Were Robbie Keane and Aquilani examples of 'players Rafa has been interested in but couldnt afford'?

Stick to birthday threads,Kris.

I hardly think Keane was his 1st choice do you ? and if Ferguson Or Anceltotti want a player do you think they would be told no because of a lack of funds ?

Who was his first choice krissr?

20M is a fair sum of money for a striker these day. Or are you trying to say it's not?

I did, actually.

I'm surprised you didnt think so,

Who did Rafa want instead of Aquilani?

Macgyver?

I'd be very happy with 38 one-nils, Wilko.

I think Villa would of been his 1st choice or maybe Tevez, and as for Aquilani we needed someone to replace Alonso and Aquailani was a risk because of his injury record, but it obviously hasn't turned out right for him here

Load of shit thread. From start to fnish.
I genuinely feel sorry for you and Khl and Neil etc And i dont mean in a patronising way. It must be shit to come on here and elsewhere and read all the negativity and bitterness from almost everyone. I wish i still believed but i dont. Im done.
I am sorry that it would make you feel bad though. But he has to go. He has to.
Fuck that. Negativity I can handle during a season like this one. Bullshit insults and over the top posts about Rafa's ability grate the hell out of me though.

From you, I expect it, and I 'don't mean to be patronising', but you have always loved your extremes.

If Rafa goes, Rafa goes. If he stays and wins us another cup or two, I'll be thrilled. If he stays and gets nothing until he leaves, so be it. There is no scenario where he is a failure, a manager who won't make it on 'the big stage', or a cunt.

I'll say it again, load of shit thread. I don't know why KHL bothers, but at least he prevented this thread from being total wank.
Then it's a good thing KHL saved this thread from being total wank then.
