I have a lot of time for Rijkaard as manager after his time at Barca, but I've been advocating caution for years now when people (like Anita) have been touting him.

I was asking as I'd be speculating also, but managers have been coming and going at top clubs over the last few years and he doesn't appear to have gotten a look in. Now, even if you know very little of his last year or so (and tenure overall) at Barca that should set alarms bells ringing, shouldn't it?
 
Rijkaard should NOT be our next manager, that would be an awful appointment. Its well known that mos of his tenure at Barca fell apart when Ten Caate left.
Mourinho is the man, do everything possible to get him.

Yeah although Palermo and Fiorentina pushed them a long way.

Taking a very good Inter-team to the title in a very mediocre league where your fircest competitors are still reliant on 58-year-old Inzaghi isn't an achievement worth falling on your arse over. It really isn't. One of the easiest trophies Mourinho will ever win really.

He's actually in danger of getting sacked this time around if Roma steals the Scudetto from under his nose.

Perhaps so but with a bit of luck and good weather I'm not going to write him off already.

And I do hope he gets another go at the title really as it would probably mean 4th been secured.

We came very very close last Season - this one has been crap - but I've still got some faith left.

I like Rafa and the fat lady hasn't sung yet.
