I just entered the school I teach at in a big contest to win $50,000 for a sensory playground.
What is a sensory playground, you ask? Well it is a playground designed to cater to kids who have special sensory needs. Our students have autism and most of them have both social and sensory deficits. Currently we have only a concrete yard to play in.
