We don't need subs, apart from Henderson no-one's broken into a sweat so far

professional performance i guess you could call it but shit it was a boring game .

WHY IS STERLING COMING ON????

I wonder if these subs are sometimes prompted by the presence of the national team manager. For example, throwing Sterling on so he has a few minutes to present his case to Hodgson for selection for the WC this year. Even if it was just 7 minutes, Sterling got quite a lot of touches, so here's me thinking Rodgers wanted to give Sterling a chance.

Well played Bournemouth-- its players seemed to have all the time on the ball that Liverpool's didn't. Gerrard and Henderson in a central two doesn't seem to work-- Henderson shirks all decision-making and his first touch deserts him and Gerrard doesn't seem to be aware of what is around him especially for somebody playing in such a position. Moses wasn't bad-- maybe that's his level of opposition defence? Suarez and Sturridge were good even as they fed on scraps. Kelly looked ring rusty but wasn't helped by being chronically isolated against the left back and left-midfield. Skrtel and Toure couldn't pass the ball under pressure and were far too reactive today. As against Villa last week. And Jones is scary! Sh!t game from us overall on a boggy pitch but we won and that matters more than the performance in situations like this.

Bring on Tuesday and the bitters.
