I know it's early days and perhaps this is a little ungrateful given that we're 2 wins out of 2 so far but I'm worried for the season ahead.

So far I'm seeing a lot of the more negative aspects of Rodgers reign so far: no control, no discipline and very little cohesion. Basically a 90min free for all.

It's difficult for me because I came into the season full of preconceived notions about the state of our midfield and certain signings and for that reason I want to be patient but I'm really struggling. It looks as poorly thought through in reality as it does on paper.

There is talent in the squad but no-one to bring it together it seems.

Its pretty bad ay?

Maybe we have dumbed down?
Maybe vs Arsenal we step all the way the fuck up.

Poor lacking any sense of control in the game too.

Rogers hasn't got a clue how to set up this team, such a chancer

I was baffled and annoyed by bringing Moreno on... But fuck me he ran the ragged

It's nice to see someone try and work their way back in to the team

So...

When are we going to see ings or Origi?

Personally I'd rather them get some minutes soon, just to keep match sharpness up. Long we leave them on the bench, the rustier they'll get

Average performance, but it's early doors and nobody has been great so far. The manager is more of a worry than the squad now.

We'll get our annual tonking at the Emirates next week unless we improve ten-fold.

Lallana just isn't good enough. Lovren is a lunatic, as is Skrtel. Then you factor in the fact that there's no cohesion or style of play at all in this team. I can see it being like last season again, only a few more goals and points due to actually having a striker this season. Other than that not much has changed.

Small change in our history of wastefulness.

While we're on it I don't see the Benteke was a beast nonsense and did Firmino touch the ball.
Firmino did fuck all

As for benteke. He wasnt full beast mode, but at least the signs were there that he could for us.

Clyne and Benteke obviously haven't got the memo either. We can't have them putting in good performances like that. Hopefully we will iron that out of them before too long.

No let them play so we can moan how shite they are and hope we lose.
That's how we're supposed to think these days isn't it?
In essence

Seriously though, I'd like to see either of them given a chance.

I honestly think if firmino isn't ready for a start, benteke and ings up top, with Coutinho behind next week. Benteke is just too isolated up there

I don't think we'll get any joy down the flanks, and we need to keep a watchful eye on several of their players

Diamond for me next week. Can behind milner and hendo, Coutinho at the tip

Fuck it, were playing shit and winning . I'm happy until we start dropping points.

Benteke looks class , milner too .

The rest looked pretty gash .

We need a destroyer to sit in front of the back four asap
