So.........are we all agreed that ANDY CARROLL IN DANGER YO ! ??!!

If in danger you mean he is going to get out of LFC, then yes - but I think its a cause for a mass celebration, and for non-muslims on here to get drunk and drown their sorrows over such a huge loss of money, and for muslim boys like me to pray for amnesia such that the transfer did not happen and Carroll never wore an LFC shirt.

This 'Mr Agent' bloke seems like a major plonker. If he's legit, does he think clubs and clients can't see what he blabs about?

No, I don't know what you're on about, you fucking twat.

Why all the abuse then Themn ? - are you just an angry guy who has serious personal issues ? repeat after me:-

"I LOVE STEWART DOWNING - AND THINK HE CAN PLAY FOR BARCALONA"

Just say it - you will feel free like I did last season when the team were utter shite.

Lots of twitter activity...who know if it's bullshit or not...
@AnfieldMole: Talks still ongoing with #nufc regards #carroll I have been informed personal terms already agreed with player only fee to agree

If we can get £17.5M out of them, it will be very good, half of our face will be saved to the public.

"I don’t like to just give up on players, I always look at different ways you can play them". Sadly Brendan was referring to Downing, not Carroll.

Downing *could* possibly play in another position or role.

What other position could Andy fucking Carroll play?

He needs to get rid of both. They're two of the worst transfers, not just in our history but in the history of football. £55,000,000.00 they cost this club. That's without wages. For the 55m we spent on those two attackers, we got six league goals in almost two years.

That's an absolute outrage. I'm sure Rodgers would cut Downing from the squad just as quick as Carroll if he could actually find somebody interested in buying him.

A good season from Downing on left back/midfield could see us getting atleast 10-12 mill next year.

Andy Carroll: Appears set to see out the transfer window at Liverpool

Alan Pardew has conceded defeat in his efforts to bring Andy Carroll back to Newcastle before the summer transfer window slams shut.
The Magpies have already tabled one offer for a man they sold toLiverpool

for £35million in January 2011.

Liverpool are unwilling to discuss the current terms on offer, but remain open to the prospect of offloading the England international.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers will not allow Carroll to leave on loan but a permanent agreement could be reached, and the 23-year-old would favour a return to the North East.
Pardew, though, believes a deal is unlikely.
Asked on Wednesday if the re-signing of Carroll was still a possibility, he replied: "Not as far as I'm aware, no."
Watching

Newcastle

have been able to bolster their ranks with the signings of Vurnon Anita,

Romain Amalfitano and Gael Bigirimana this summer, but a number of top targets have remained agonisingly out of reach.

Pardew remains in the market for possible late deals, but does not anticipate there being a late flurry of transfer activity on Tyneside.
He said: "We are just watching the market and seeing if anything pops its head up that's appealing to us.
"Agents keep ringing me and giving me all sorts of names - they must think we don't scout - but we are aware of the ones we are watching and if they decide to move on, then we might trigger ourselves.
"But at the moment, the targets we have are all very much secure at their clubs."
