Hart

Walker
Terry
Cahill
Baines

Wilshere
Gerrard
Henderson

Sterling
Sturridge
Barkley

Id have Wilshere in ahead of Henderson.

you are mad..

Henderson this season and according to current form is easily the better player, whereas Wilshire has been wank for some time now..

Henderson has a fantastic engine in him which will only go to aid what England have lacked in midfield for a while now..

I'd have Lallana, Sterling, Ox and Sturridge as my attacking quartet, sorry Rooney, but you don't get in the squad purely on merit, plus I think he's detrimental to the team with his must be centre of attention attitude.

He'll probably get sent off in one of the games anyway. Probably in a friendly just before the World Cup proper too.

William Hill giving out odds for players to make the world cup squad.

You can get around 7/1 for Llallana, Henderson and Sterling to make the squad. Or you can substitute Ox for Sterling for the same odds.

Whys Crouch 20-1 I'd defo take him just because he's different and experienced. I haven't watched him enough though, am I wrong and he's shit now?

Catch 22, do you presume we're not going to beat the Old Lady and the Negrito Lovers, take a load of youth and see where you get.

Or stick with the old fuckers like Rooney and whimper out anyway?

If Roy went for the throat with the best attacking players, we'd stand a chance, but you know he's going to play that cagey boring shit. Watch tonight, should be a good game to try and bllod the youth and experiment with tactics, but it'll be the same boring shit.

Its like the FA force crap tactics on England managers.

Yeah thats the thing, theres nothing to really lose this time is there? fuck watching England whimper out again with the likes of Milner and Carrick on the pitch hanging on for dear life for a penalty shoot out.

Despite Hodgson i feel quite positive about it this time, not going to the final or anything like that, just playing well really and doing ourselves a bit of justice, after that 2006 shootout loss ive barely given a shit about the national team but with all the Liverpool players and some of the other younger players it makes it interesting again and its hard not to feel a little optimistic, i know that optimism goes against logic and reason with Hodgson in charge but im going to close my eyes, stick my fingers in my ears and shout lalalalalalalala and pretend hes not going to have a big bearing on it.

Barkley is nowhere near ready to be starting for England

Your opinion. I beg to differ. Some amazing performances this year .. if Barkley isn't then maybe Sterling isn't either since they have somewhat similar career paths to date. I think they both are, even more so if we are using this WC to plan for the future rather than just give the old dogs one last wag of the tail.

His career path is similar to Sterling's? hahahaaaaa

Could be 5 liverpool players in the England team tonight. Superb

The record of seven players from one club in a starting England lineup has never been equalled. The closest any club has come is the six Liverpool players who started in manager Ron Greenwood's first match in charge, the scoreless friendly draw against Switzerland on 7 September 1977. The six were Ray Clemence, Phil Neal, Terry McDermott, Emlyn Hughes, Ray Kennedy and Ian Callaghan. Kevin Keegan also started, but he had moved from Liverpool to West Germany's Hamburger over the summer.

For a Uni student you really can be a dumb fuck at times. Or maybe that is the explanation. Instead of trying to be a clever cunt with your childish hahahaha just take a look at the below :

Sterling made his debut for the first team at 17 yrs old. Barkley at 18 yrs old.
Sterling has 50 appearances for Liverpool and Barkley 54 for Everton.
Both have represented England at every level from U16 thru to the full team. Sterling 2 appearances for the full England team and Barkley 3.
Both have been MoM on a few occasions this season.
Both are now being touted as having great futures at their clubs and are possibilities for the plane to Brazil

You're right, absolutely fuck all similarity in their careers at all 🙄

Why the fuck is Sturridge playing out wide and that lazy positionally inconsistent striker playing there?

I'm not a student

But in terms of their importance, what they bring to the team and consistency Sterling is light years ahead

Doesn't seem massively hard to grasp like

I didn't say anything even remotely close to 'importance to their team' ! I said "somewhat similar career paths" !!

That bet is now 3/1.
