Benfica are the best of them, but we had what I believe was a decent result tonight with the away goal. We just need to win 1-0 at home.

Here's hoping.

I would try and play him anywhere else but on the left , but there may be no option.

Had Babel been available I would drop Lucas put Gerrard back in the middle and play Yossi behind Torres.
As It is I would still do that and play the out of favour Riera

I remember having this exact conversation some years ago with DJ Syd; also after a 2-0 defeat away to Benfica with Syd boasting that we'd do them at Anfield.

The second leg at Anfield was 2-0 to them
