Barrett saying we've bid 32M for Alex Teixeira...

Eh ? Did the club go and make a statement then or is this just Barrett blabbering on ?

If Chelsea, City, Bayern or whoever really want him, they could easily outbid us and offer more money I suppose. It's not s if we haven't seen our targets go elsewhere for that reason, and many others that haven't been entirely money-related too; Delle Ali, Sanchez, Willian, Costa, Mkhtaryan...it's a long list.

But Klopp and our Brazilian contingent should help, plus we made the first move and he will also know he's a certain starter at Liverpool - which seems to be very important to him - and he maybe wouldn't be at some other clubs.

A lot of players have left Shakhtar for big money and have all done well haven't they? Fernandinho, Willian, Douglas Costa, Mkhitayran.

Oh, your man who went to Barca failed (Chygrynskiy) but he was a defender so fuck him.

They all went for pretty huge sums of money too, they have made a FORTUNE out of transfers in the last 5 years or so.

I see a clever buy Teix sell Teix scam coming on here.
Barcelona will be getting the little Suso-alike for 85m summer after next.

Clever clever.

Who invited Dr Doom to the party?

Shakthar owner makes Abramovich look like Delia Smith:

"He took control of the club when his former business partner and suspected criminal underworld leader, Akhat Bragin, was blown up in his seat at the football club's stadium in 1995.Akhmetov, who was the vice president of Shakhtar at the time, had skipped the game where five other people were killed along with the president in the VIP directors' box."

And we've sent Ian Ayre to negotiate with him. Oh. Dear.

You need to consider the possible upside

All over twitter he's done his hamstring.

Couldn't make this shit up.
Isn't it pretty standard that a player gets a random injury when they're subject to a transfer bid so that the manager doesn't have to explain why he isn't playing.
