Barrett saying we've bid 32M for Alex Teixeira...

This could be the greatest insider knowledge coup in the history of 6cm and I'm not sensing the excitement. Teixeira is coming, and we few, we happy few, are the only ones privy to the knowledge. Watch the vids lads. Revel in them. Visualise the Brazilian brotherhood of Coutinho, Firmino and Teixeira tearing our hapless opponents to shreds.

?

Chipping in.

TEXEIRA has been quoted today saying he won't consider a move to any team where a fan forum can't produce at least an 60 page thread prior to his transfer.

Ah he would have come and had a few bad games and we would have hated the guy within a month anyway.

He's still coming. He's still going to get written off within his first month. He's still going to get his own derogatory version of his name from his critics. He's still going to prove them all wrong and have a smashing song by the ned of the season.

A contact had told me the same thing. Negotiations expected between #LFC and Shakthar over Teixeira before deadline.

Your damn right - if I don't see him do at least something special every 10 minutes of his first game with us (if he signs) then he is gonna get written off. For that kind of money and that kind of risk - there is no time to settle in bollox that is going to be catered for. This is it - I am demanding the final product at its peak from this guy.

I haven't given up on banging Mila Cunnis, which is more likely to happen than us signing Texiera in 70 minutes.

And no, we can't Texeira.

Its an age thing Squigs. Most of us of a certain age cant understand why the January transfer window doesn't end on 31st, or why a player aged 22 is too old to make it.

It would have ended on the 31st if it wasn't a Sunday, I think.

It's not happening. Of course Journos/Sky will say there's still a chance to keep fans interested thus keeping the ratings and shit up.

Sanderson has the whiff of something lads. And he appears to have word of a deadline day deal. Shit just got real. If it has the imprimatur of Sanderson, you take heed.

The Reds have already seen three bids be rejected for the forward, with Shakhtar demanding his £53.2million buy-out clause is met.
That valuation has seen the deal stall, while some reports have suggested the transfer is now firmly dead in the water.
However, the BBC says Teixeira could still sign for Liverpool before the transfer window shuts, with chief executive Ian Ayre working on a deal.
The outlet says Liverpool would need to raise their offer above their current £27m bid and Shakhtar would have to meet them in the middle.
Teixeira is pushing to move to Anfield, and his influence could end up having an impact in whether this deal happens or not.

Liverpool could still wrap up a deal to sign Shakhtar Donetsk forward Alex Teixeira before the close of Monday’s transfer deadline, according to the BBC.
The Reds, who have had their fair share of problems in front of goal this season, have already seen three separate bids knocked back for the Brazilian as Shakhtar remain hopeful of seeing his £53.2million buy-out clause met.

That valuation is believed to have seen the deal stall, though, with several reports claiming that the move is now dead in the water.
However, the BBC claim there is still hope that the move can be pushed through before the transfer window slams shut on Monday night as chief executive Ian Ayre is still working hard on making it happen.

But for them to stand any chance of completing his signature, Liverpool are going to have to increase their current £27m offer, but with Teixeira pushing for a move to Anfield, the two parties could come to an agreement sooner rather than later.
