Whilst I hope the lad works out and I think he has the talent to be playing at a top club (Barca, Juve), there's surely a reason why those moves didn't work out.
Whether it was focus, ability or off the pitch antics remains to be seen.
What is clear, is we're loaning a talented midfielder (once had Xavi comparisons) on the way down/slide in his career. Obviously, not the ideal scenario.
But then, this could be the last chance saloon for him. He could turn up with a point to prove. The English game might force him to show his talent (where he'll need to play a lot more progressive passes).
He's essentially going from the bench at Juve, to potentially starting in the team of CL finalist. And we're hoping he's going to improve us. No pressure Arthur.

I've been watching some compilations...I'm honestly not convinced.
Doesn't look like he'd cope with the premier league tempo. He's not a traditional DM. More like a deep lying playmaker.
Also he looks painfully slow with the ball and if you think Jones holds on to the ball for too long, well you ain't seen nothing yet.
