Adama on Eve of Liverpool Move?

If anyone can turn him into a world-beater clearly it's Klopp. Pretty sure he has thought about it a bit more than any of us.
If he wants him I'm in.

This. For 20m, the talent is there, and JK has previous in developing unseen potential. If he feels he can make him the type of player we need, why would we doubt him? I don't remember too many people creaming themselves when we got Diogo outta nowhere...

The only thing that makes me think that this signing might work is the fact that I wasn't crazy about us signing Mane or Salah and they worked out okay.

Yep - They certainly weren't the superstars that they have become under Jurgen... I will openly acknowledge that I've reached the point where I simply trust JK 100% and will never bitch about his signings - He has nothing left to prove to us in that regard.

Absolutely.
Though I will be genuinely be surprised if we sign Adama Traore.
He just doesn't seem like a Liverpool player or signing, while the likes of Jota did as did Neto also from Wolves and Raphinha does now.

Oh, I don't disagree that it doesn't seem a good fit for us, and I would really, really, REALLY rather get the boy from Leeds, but, as somebody else said earlier, if it's this for 20m or nothing at all, and JK wants it to happen, I'm excited about it.

I think this link is bollocks but I’d definitely take him, imagine the space gifted to Salah and co having 2 or 3 of the opposition on him. He doesn’t really need to have that much end product to help the cause.

Salah's got more goals this season than Adama has had in his career.

Virgil's probably had more hair cuts last month than he's had goals in his career.

Milner's probably shagged his missus more times in he last 24 hours than he's had goals in his career.

Banters aside he'd be worth a punt for 10-15m but that's all, he's terrible...he'd be the worlds most expensive speedster because that's all we'd really be investing in.

I think there are certain parts of our game he’d be epic for but others less so. Will he be useful against a parked bus? Probably not. Will he be deadly pressing and countering? Absolutely.

His speed would make our counter attacks more deadly...

The likes of Sallah,Jota, Mane and Bobby will all benefit from him being on the pitch for us
Can't see him scoring too often, but can see him as a top contender for goals assists a long with TAA and Robbo

Report: Liverpool Deal Agreed For Wolves And Spain Winger Adama Traore As Mohamed Salah And Sadio Mane Leave For AFCON

DAMON CARR
Reports suggest that Liverpool have agreed a deal to sign Wolves forward Adama Traore in January for a reported fee £20m. With both Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane going to AFCON, the addition of the Spanish winger would be timely.
Adama Traore is a player that has had speculation surround him for a couple of years now. His speed and strength have been a huge problem for defenders to cope with in the Premier League, which has sparked interest from other clubs.

Liverpool have been one club heavily linked with the Spaniard recently, with Jurgen Klopp said to be a big fan of his. Since Klopp took over, Liverpool have signed many players with potential and have been developed by the coaching team.
Adama Traore fits the bill for this Liverpool team and would be ideal back up for Mane and Salah. With the winger starting to come up to his prime years as a footballer, it would be the ideal time for him to make a step up not only to a bigger but also to play under a manager like Jurgen Klopp.
According to recent reports, Traore will get that chance, as they report that the Spaniard has agreed to join the reds. Jurgen Klopp is well known to develop players with potential, which would be such an attraction for a player like Traore. The reports are from an unreliable source, however it could well be true.
That escalated quickly.

That’s a great deal imo, premier league adapted danger merchant over a busy period where we’re stretched.

who is Damon Carr though?

James Pearce said in a Q and A that he doesn't expect any incoming signings in January

Holy shit!
Wanted us to sign a winger in January and we fucking do it?
This can't be right.

There might be a player in the rough shell that is Traore, and that's a big might, it just seems bizarre to sign him half way through the season. It's clear he's going to require a lot of coaching to fit our system and improve his all round play, before he's worth anything from us, so signing him to thrust him straight into the team in place of Salah and Mane just makes no sense.

Whats the point of all the dribbles?
No end product
Shot creation for others as the stats undeniably prove.

My one issue (aside from the lack of end product from the man himself) is that Wolves play nothing like us and so would he be able to replicate those figures in a team that dominates the ball and plays far higher up the pitch?

Kick and run (to reduce his skill to its basic level) is fine when you have the space to run into but he won't have anything like as much here as at Wolves.
