The scum are reporting 50mill! For 45-50mill he can keep their physio's and French sky gods busy, I'd defo take that. Not sure what/who klopp has in mind for that role, but I presume he was going to look at it as a priority this summer.

Yeah, for 45 mill its something you seriously have to consider.
He's so injury prone that we cant rely on him.
The only worry is who we replace him with.
If we managed to get Lacazette, Icardi or someone like that I'd do it in a heartbeat.
Difficult to find top quality strikers though.
We wont be able to attract the likes of Benzema or Higuain.

He's worth more when fit and on form but we've waited two seasons to see that Daniel Sturridge again and I'm tired of waiting.

45M is too good to be true... which means it probably isn't.

The issue with selling him at any price though is that we can't really attract anyone of his quality to replace him with.

Bye... With that 45 million we could buy 1 or 2 players that last the full season and won't sulk when subbed..

Gotze and Lazcette please

I doubt that it is bollocks. IMO the deal is more or less done and that is why we don't play him more than we do.

The big problem is that his many injuries mean that he can't press that much. Our strikers must be able to work their socks off every minute.

45 million?

Sell.
25 million for Icardi.
15 million for Freddy Adu (Glock has to be right)
10 million for Benteke's wage packet (as he'll end up with West Ham)

We'd be mad not to sell for that amount. A fully fit Studge, playing 40+ games per season, is worth about £60m but given his appearance record for us......

If we have any ambition to win or challenge for a title we should keep Sturridge around despite his injury record.
Just add to our strike force instead of decimating it.
I like Lacazette but will he be a proven goal scorer in the premiership like Sturridge is?
There's no sure thing but we know that Sturridge fits us and is happy playing for a team that isn't doing too well atm.

Doesn't look happy these days. Plus Klopp obviously can't rely on him because no matter what he takes him off after 60 mins. Then there's the fact he always gets injured on england duty. We are always waiting around for him to be fit. We need a main striker that can play regularly and is reliable.

If it's abroad and over £40million, it'll be very difficult to say no, how the rest of the season pans out for him will be massive in deciding, if he goes on a rich run of form, suggesting he's finally back to his best, I' m not sure i'd want to let him go.
