I spend more time on here than I do watching Liverpool so I think I'd spend that money with the view of making life on here more interesting.
The most hotly contested players are: Lucas, Johnson, Agger and Skrtel.
I'd replace them all. We may not end up being any better but at least the arguments would be new and refreshing.

A midfielder that can score goals, tackle, pass and run with the ball
A hitman to shoot Henderson and Lucas in the face. That'll give us a better midfield straight away.
Haven't seen much of Rakitic at all but we have been linked and he sounds like just the sort of player we need, technically sound, creative midfielder that scores goals, anyone seen much of him? how good is he?
As mentioned M'Vila would be very nice aswell.

See to me that list is dealer, hooker & drug of choice.
A top midfielder who can actually run, tackle, pass and shoot. Rather than only being able to do one of those things.
At the moment we have Henderson who runs, Lucas who tackles, Gerrard who can pass (and he used to be able to shoot but sadly is now not allowed near the goal) and Allen who appears to be able to do very little.

If I had my way, I'll do it the Arsenal way.
Keep the money in the bank for a few windows, let it gain interest, clear off debts, make do with whatever we've got, groom the young ones, buy only when it's REALLY necessary and even so, try as much as you can to get the bargain deals....and when all that's done...just wait...wait...no matter how painful it becomes,...wait.....almost there...just wait a lil more.....and then BAM ! We use all that money and waste it all on some super player like Ozil....
And then hope our Ramseys and Wilsheres will have emerged and blossomed just nicely too.
