Fabinho leaving?

'inclusion not exclusion is, I believe, the only way to change Saudi Arabian politics.

I don't really want to be drawn into this whole thing because it's boring and belongs in the general chat out of the way but just felt the need to comment on that to say that it come across as rather naive. Think a lot of westerners are quite naive generally speaking when assuming that their politics, ideals and what not are going to translate everywhere. Sometimes they just don't.

My politics don’t align with the fucking gutter press journalists in my own country. Kerb the fucking lot of them.

That's a very strange accusation to level at me (I understand you know nothing about me) and it tickles me to be honest. I've lived on 3 continents (5 yrs in Africa, 28 yrs in Asia and 32 yrs in Europe) and in 9 countries with the political leadership of those countries during that time running the gammut from dictatorships to democratic socialism, from communism to republican democracy and from authoritarian regimes to colonialist outposts.

So forgive me if I find it hilarious that someone who has likely not lived under more than a couple of governmental systems, at most, thinks I am the naive one and that they believe isolation / exclusion is a better option to ferment change. That is simply a precursor to aggression, which always works doesn't it.

Anfield, as a place, is one of the poorest postcodes in Western Europe. Give it a few years and it'll be in the running for poorest in Eastern too. The geopolitics are simply lol.

All this fucking bullshit about billions of quids here and millions of quids there are abstractions, virtual layers of inconceivable dreams.

The reality is, some leech from Brazil rode up a few years ago, got treated like a God, and moved on when some other cunts working in a completely separate orbit offered him something better.

Curb the fucking lot of them.

L4 abides.

I don't know how the players are the leaches. They actually do something, having climbed atop a mountain of ruptured 16 year old acls, and marginally inferior strands of DNA.

Fabinho is going to one of the most luxurious glue factories ever invented. No sympathy or understanding is required. He and hendo know deep in their cartilage what we've been yelling at our tvs for at least a year, how fortunate for them that the buyer needs to buy legitimacy and not footballers.

In whose service was every last bit of fast twitch that ran up fabinho's wobbly legs burned up? Another year of some true believer German, screaming at them until they somehow summon some ancient warrior spirit, while some waspy cunt and a team of paunchy assholes count money?Retirement beckons.

I’m aware of your history given that I’ve been on the forum for an age now. And I’m not saying I believe in isolation / exclusion either (though Russia isn’t a great advertisement for inclusion)… my post was deliberately light on my beliefs and opinions because as I said, I’d rather not get drawn in. Just making a general observation, not a personal attack.

Yeah I'm sorry but making an observation, without stating an alternative, or an opinion, is pretty pointless because no one knows where you stand, or why or how you arrived at such a conclusion, and obviously it's impossible therefore to debate the merits or otherwise of either position. A bit of a cop out mate.

Must remind myself the next time I observe that my Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is tasting delightful that I must add an alternative view and explain how I arrived at my conclusion.

I’m sure the missus will be as engaged as the cats on the merits of my observations.

:D

Bringing this back round full circle. Actually it’s more like a 1440 degree circle at this point…Fabinho could you please hurry the fuck up and sign the contract so we can then pull the fingers out our bumholes, announce your departure and can finally unshackle our hands from our balls with what we have to do next. Ah thanking you kindly.

That last statement is pure FACT. Isolating any nation honestly is no good, and achieves nothing but the sufferring of innocent people who just want to get on with their lives.

I'd like to believe hendo and fabinho are going to the middle east as missionaries for change. But they're not. As Saudi has received zero pressure from the world to change, other than by loud people on the internet who are a complete irrelevance. All the Saudi league is doing is trying to change our opinion on a cutthroat barbaric leadership.

Plenty of Countries and clubs like LFC keep bending over for Saudi money, not expecting any less from players. In 2yrs time Saudi League won’t exist or this will be the norm and we will wonder what the fuss is about.
40m shall be accepted and cleansed in the River Mersey and we are all good to go again.

Honestly, when we look at what missionaries have done around the world, I don't want them to be that either.

Fine fine player he was for us, part of the revolution that help see this club win everything.

Great character too, always stayed professional, never argued, never got into any bust ups, spoken highly of by all his team mates and manager, made time for fans by taking photos and signing autographs with a smile on his face.

He was the perfect signing at the time. Many of us here had been talking about our need of a DM for years before he joined.
I just knew we'd start winning shit with him as the last piece of the puzzle.
Sad to see him go but it's for the best.

Klopp really fucking hated him last year

Integral part of our latest team to win everything.

I do feel we sold him at his very lowest.

Obviously fell out with Klopp in the end not to mention him in his fairwell.

Our 5th biggest sale. I wasnt expecting that when his career was about to be finished.

I’m shocked so swanky is still on our top ten and we managed to get £32 mill for Ben-no tekkers.

£15m for Ibe. Have you seen what's happened to him? Joined some Turkish club last season, didn't play a game and was released 3 months later. Shocking.
Anyway, £40m for Fabs is decent but I'd have rather kept him.
