And yet, it is a must, and I firmly believe a keeper will be bought. We're definitely moving Ming on so we need to sign a keeper. After Karius's display in the CL final I don't see us buying a back up keeper.

I'm almost positive that Klopp will stick with karius.

The alternatives are either overpriced or not much of an improvement.

The fan base will hate it so he'll be taking a risk there but I just can't see him splashing much cash on a minor upgrade & the major upgrades are ridiculously overpriced cos everyone saw the CL final so assumes we're desperate for a new keeper.

It's the worst time for us to buy a new keeper in business terms.

I think there are plenty of keepers that would offer more than a minor upgrade without massively overpaying.

We simply can’t start next season with Karius or Mingolet as first choice.

With Kasper in goal I think we would’ve probably beaten Real.

If truth be told, I do think his absolute self belief is what makes him someone that I would consider, even if he's not the most athletic, and is probably by no means the best at any single aspect of keeping. That indomitable aggressive confidence is a fantastic attribute to have in a keeper. All keepers fuck up- and Kasper has done so many times, but he has the mental strength not to question himself and to lock the mistake away. We've had two mentally fragile keepers who look tortured by self doubt at times. I'm not sure I want Kasper, but I'd love someone with his spirit.

Hes an odd one alright, 4 years ago in Brazil he was one of the breakout talents in a young Belgian team that played some great foorball. Now hes at home watching the matches with his feet up while bang average players like Batshuayi and Chadli are playing in a world cup quarter final.

Batshauyi isn’t an average player. If you watch German football, you’d see the impact he had when given a chance.

I don’t write off Origi yet, but Bats isn’t ‘average’

I know Inui from Japan is 30 but he seems really mobile, quick feet, hard working - would be an interesting backup for a CF?

Bats was never average, he's always been a superb talent

Chelsea once again stifles a player, but his scoring record is still good for them

I'd kill for him to be with us
