DENMARK V AUSTRALIA 1pm

I can't see too many goals in this one, if I had to stick my neck out I'd say 1-0 to the Danes, but we'll see.

FRANCE V PERU 4pm

Should be France all day, but after a less than convincing 2-1 win over Australia Peru may fancy their chances at spoiling their party by getting a result or at least giving them a game, esp when defeat means they're out.

ARGENTINA V CROATIA 7pm

Again on paper Argentina should have this in the bag, but with the entire game plan seemingly being 'give it to Messi', with no plan b at all, & Croatia not being a poor side this could throw up a surprise result. The bookies certainly don't have much between them.

Regardless of results, it'd be good if we got to see more than a goal a game like we did yesterday!

I have danish goalie and 1 defender on my FF team. The hardly let in goals, but last match it was down to poor finishing rather than solid defence.

Any good bets?

Denmark win.
France win.
Croatia win.

Watch me get all three wrong.

So far itv have spent 60% of the pre match talking about England WHO AREN’T EVEN FUCKING PLAYING TODAY. This winds me up no end.

I’m not expecting too much from this game sonwatch it end up being 3-3.

France to win and Griezmann to score, and both teams to score in ARG-Croatia are my bets today.

I stuck a couple of quid on Denmark, France & Argentina all to win cos paddy Power offered 7/1 which seems quite decent for three favourites.

Argentina should win today or they might have a very nervous week. Didn't see Croatia first game. Were they solid?

Fuck. Taking my wife out to eat and have to do it 2nd half of France match to finish before the Argie's.

That was a great finish. Australia go the other end and can’t make it count. They do not have the quality and they won’t get anything out of this game.

Just missed my first World Cup footy this tournament.

Sister in law locked herself in her boyfriends porch so had to drive to Childwall to get the keys from him at work & then to his house to rescue her.

Not the relaxing afternoon of footy viewing I had planned. Ah well.

I've done that! But in my own house

Not fun

A second I thought she was blonde enough to lock herself in her boyfriends Porche.

Arzani looks a very good young prospect. I know City are connected to all the satellite clubs under their banner but hes a player I think could be a real top talent in a year or two. Reminds me of Suso but with more pace.

Youngest player at the World Cup as well.

I can't see anything but a France win here.

They may have been relatively poor first game but still beat Australia, & whilst Peru play some attractive football the gulf in class means it'd be a huge surprise to see them taking points from the French today.

I've never thought about this before but "went past him like he wasn't there."

How exactly does that make sense, when you really think about it, instead of working?
