Post Match Wolves (H) - Sun Feb 16th 14:00

Jones and hopefully Gakpo will be back for Villa.

We need to be able to rotate at this time of the season.

Next 3 games, we need 7pts minimum.

No clue why Jota did not continue going (for the dive).

He did the same thing last season as well.
I watched that replay and was ... WTAF ! If he'd have stayed on his feet he'd almost certainly have got a shot off and more than likely scored. Stupid stupid stupid.

I'd drop gravy against villa.

He's on his last legs
Our midfield struggled. None of them could string a pass together. And Gravenberch's attempt at blocking Cunha was pathetic and lazy.

Bloody Everton took alot out of us it seems. We need to make some changes.

There’s more chance of platting piss but I’d give chiesa more minutes, even with salah still on the pitch but Arne won’t.
I agree, Slot doesn't really exude confidence like Klopp. He just doesn't trust certain players and if he doesn't trust you, you're not getting a second on the pitch. It makes sense somehow, but some players need to be given a chance to gain that trust. It can't be one bad game and you're out.

I’ll agree with this after we have three more titles in the bag
The football is just shit.

We lack intensity in our play, especially on the ball.....no urgency to go for the kill which makes it easier for the defence to get up top and pinch the ball back.

Mo again was fucking crap, scored his obligatory pen.......great.
Jota had moments but on the whole, very little urgency and easy to mark out the game.
Szobo on the ball doesn't add anything to our attacking play.
Diaz played well but again like Jota, only plays in moments.
Darwin was hopeless but by that stage we were backs to the wall and had zero intention to attack.
Midfield 2 look tired, both again very sloppy and barely had any control.

It's just shit.

I have not watched the game, but we seem to overlook the underperformances from Lex and Dom. Reading the comments none covered themselves in glory. Lex should be doing more with controlling the pace of the game and Dom blows hot and cold, but he hasn't lived up to his price tag.
The fullbacks have been shit all season but the club saw fit to risk it and save the money.

Don’t think it’s worth over analyzing that 2nd half performance. We hang on and won. That was the most important thing after the Everton game.

Get it out of our system and recharge for our next game.

Think we will see a response against Villa.
