I have a sneaky feeling England will do well. May be it's just my love for Gerrard.
England aren't going to win it but I don't think they'll do as badly as some (mainly Irish) posters would like to think.

Everyone has a soft spot for Ireland. In this era of preening football superstars it's refreshing to see those eleven paddies running around gasping for breath, their misshapen heads glistening with freckles and sweat, their thin pasty white legs carrying them gracelessly around the field.

But i reckon the key for England is using Phil Jones as a DM right through the campaign and forgetting that Barry is in the squad at all. He should be the designated waterboy....but then Henderson will have nothing else to do.

Hodgson quoted as saying 4-4-2 is the "way forward" for England, the useless talcum-powdered twat. He doesn't seem to realise (even after that midfield horror show against the mighty Norway) that we're not Fulham (he was likening Carroll/Young to Zamora/Johnson in the post-match interview).
