What do we need?

What do you think we need to get back into top 4?

New GK - Sirigu is available from PSG, won the league with PSG last year but has lost his place with Trapp coming in. Would be an upgrade.

CB - Matip/Subotic, both available and would both come cheap, Subotic if he can stay fit would be an awesome signing, was a massive reason for Dortmund winning the league and getting to a champions league final. Matip is available free at the end of the season, would be a great signing, he's young, experienced, stands at 6'4 and seems comfortable on the ball for a defender.

CDM - Lars/Sven Bender - any one of these 2 brothers would be a massive upgrade to what we currently have.

CM - Kroos, we need someone who is going to control the tempo of the game and be our deep lying playmaker how Xabi use to be, he's currently out of favour with Benitez, worth a cheeky bid. Also, Ruben Neves would be a good option, young, experienced, works with FSG's model.

LW/RW - Recall Markovic or wait till the summer, give him a chance in his preferred position, there was a reason he was highly sought after. He has pace, works hard, could be excellent in a Klopp team.

ST - Ibrahimovic - I know I am dreaming, he would never come to us, however him and Klopp are quite close and friendly with each other and if he can somehow get him to come to us, he'd be much better than what we currently have.

Otherwise someone more realistic could be Lacazette, or we could go for someone like Milik from Ajax.

Your thoughts? Who would you go for, what do you think we need?

Zlatan - if Benteke doesn't work, Zlatan won't as he's even lazier and slower. We need a striker who can be the 'lead' in the pressing game Klopp will want to see more often than not next year.

Agree about Markovic.

Would like to see Ter Stegen come in ... even if price is 20 mill, it's fine.

Benteke and Zlatan shouldn't ever be in the same sentence. There's every chance Zlatan could work, he pulls shit out of nowhere for fun, if Benteke was half the player Zlatan was we'd be in for a treat.

It's a glamour signing which would only create problems ... He doesn't fit into the system - and he's not getting any younger.

Some of you need to take an 8 month break from football. Trust me, it will work, I promise we will be better when you return.

What we need is to let the new manager have time to coach the players we have and to decide if we need replacements.

Throwing out the baby with the bath water every time we have a series of poor results is exactly why we keep making wholesale changes, to the point now, where we have a bunch of strangers who've been together for a short period yet we expect them to play like a well oiled machine.

Seriously, we should pause before we spend another fortune on random players.

We need a top class leader on the pitch. Zlatan is one of the best captains out there. You can't be lazy on the pitch if you play for the same team as him. If you don't work your socks off then he will make you regret that you didn't ran that extra yards.

He is available on a free in the summer and he is still one of the best players in the world. Offer him a one year £300k a week deal. Maybe he will accept it, you never know.

Cojones would be nice.
And strengthening the spine.

Correct. We don't need to sign that many players. Three or four top class players will be enough. I believe that Markovic will be fantastic for us next season.

Regarding the striker situation - cannot disagree with Klopp's issue with getting a new striker which was basically "What the fuck do I do when they are all fit ?" - good response. But we are in the situation where we have one striker but only for a few weeks at most and then maybe 3 will become available for duty. However, will they be up to the challenge ? - fuck knows.

What i think we need is yet another Attacking Midfielder - but a strong man, someone like Emre but with the ability to score goals and control the games like Xabi Alonso. Yes it's a dream but if we could identify someone out there that matches the qualities - we should just buy him. We missed out on that kid that plays for Spurs but hopefully there are others out there.

I guess you're Swedish.

We need a pacy attacker who is versatile across the attack and who will put in a shift, Zlatan brings baggage and none of those qualities whatsoever. He might be able to come up with a bit of quality out the blue, but that's only one trait we're looking for, we need someone who fits the system we're trying to play and he basically comes with the same fundamental flaws as Benteke in terms of movement and workrate.

We need:
A new CB
Competition for FB's
A DM
A creative goal scoring CM
A goal scoring creative winger
Another goal scoring striker that is interested in running around the football pitch

We also need a fit squad, we're badly missing Sturridge and Ings.

Lacazette could work 🙂

Schneiderlin was the one we needed from Southampton, along with Clyne.

That train has pulled out from the platform now I guess.
