Dont fret Dave. If they dont go they dont go. It's not the first time tickets have been offered up on here though with no takers yet people keep moaning that they never get to go the game. I appreciate it's a bit late, far and costly for some though in all fairness. Regardless, attendance at the game, apart from a reoccurring few, has been fucking lame over the last couple of seasons from this site. Fucking lame.

ah, i feel bad now. if i was still up north i'd absolutely snap your hand off, but at the moment there's just no way i can make it from london (i've got a big exam in a couple of weeks and need all the spare time i can get).

i am shocked there are no takers, though. we've got plenty of locals on here, haven't we?

Right, okay Sunny, sorry for messing you about mate. The missus wants to go now so I could still take them off you? It would be ideal as I can watch the match, yet not sit by her and hear her talking and still come across as the good guy and getting her a gift.

One thing, though, I don't know how all the ticket stuff works these days with all the electronic cards and that? How would I get them off you and pay you etc.

Hal ya lucky bastard. Getting to go to the game, and pawning your wife off on some other unfortunate fella. Good work!

I'm not married Paddy! Jesus! It's just the girlfriend. Don't know why I said missus, to be honest.

We definitely won't win if I go, though. 2 wins in about 15 matches I've been to. And one of them was on penalties.

Sound. You need to meet a mate of mine in King Harry before and after the game mate. It's 3 minutes walk from the ground. You can give him the money. I'll PM you his mobile number and stuff later on. Oh, and if we don't win it won't be down to you Hal.....

Suprised the girlfriend is willing to sit on her own. Fair play to her.

Cheers. Nice one Sunny

Ha I was surprised too. She's into her footy though so she doesn't mind if she's going to watch it.

I'll text my mate and see if he's up for it with me. Unless, the Sheikh definitely wants both?
[/quote]

Your mate might be up for it with you? This is not the place to come out, and don't let Ali know.

Ok managed to get tickets through the official box office at 45 for the village package good deal I reckon

Roy Hodgson admits he is frustrated and disappointed after Steven Gerrard sustained a hamstring injury on England duty this week - but the Liverpool manager believes it is time to draw a line under the episode.

Gerrard suffered a grade two hamstring tear during an 85-minute appearance in his country's 2-1 friendly defeat to France on Wednesday.

Asked for his thoughts on the injury and the subsequent fallout at his pre-match press conference, Hodgson said: "My thoughts on Steven Gerrard are that as Liverpool manager I'm frustrated and disappointed to lose such an important player for such a long period of time after a friendly game.

"Anything I say other than that I'm frustrated and even a little bit angry about it would be dishonest, but I know Steven is very anxious to put a tin lid on this matter.

"You (journalists) have had a couple of days now where you've been able to enjoy the headlines and the club versus country debate, but Steven, as a very important club player and very important player for his national team, is anxious that the tin lid is put on this.

"He's disappointed and sad too but he's going to do everything he can to get back to full fitness as quickly as possible.

"I don't want to discuss it anymore and I don't want an apology from anybody. I'm not prepared to add any fuel to the fire or add anything to the debate which has been raging.

"My main concern is with Liverpool Football Club, with the match tomorrow, and in particular with Steven Gerrard - and he's anxious that this matter is put behind him and everybody."

Incidentally Spearing is out injured as well

Not from the usual lad but this is the team apparently.....

Reina
Johnson
Carra
Skrtel
Konchesky
Maxi
Meireles
Poulsen
Kuyt
Ngog
Torres

Spearing out for ard 6 wks:

"Unfortunately right at the end of the training session, which was 5-a-side and not at all a competitive game, he turned his ankle and cracked a small bone just above the ankle in his fibia," said boss Roy Hodgson.

"That means he is going to be missing for six weeks. It is a terrible blow for Jay and us. He has been doing ever so well and getting closer and closer to a place in the first team.

"I was considering using him in this gane, possibly even starting him."

Fucking hell were doomed......

Nothing much he can do about it; it's not like he'd be able to tell Gerrard to not play for England any more.

Though a part of me wishes he would.

Really appreciate you offering these on here Sunny, i'm preoccupied with a lot of stuff at the moment otherwise I would have been all over those tickets.

Defo the team.

Without Gerrard, any team we put out isn't likely to be too good. But you could at least put out Shelvey and Pacheco and see what they can do rather than put out a team that you know will lose or draw at the very best.

I thought someone said Shelvey was injured?
