It was clear what was happening after 2 minutes on Saturday. They'd all spent the time between getting beat on Wednesday and Saturday morning booking holidays and switching off for the summer. It was obvious that the 11 people in the ground who gave the least of a fuck what happened result wise were the eleven miserable overpaid wankbags wearing red. Fuck the lot of them.
You know things are bad when I am jealous of the player's that are on teams with about 1/100th the tradition and esteem of LFC.

basically the modern football is very rich but they are still human, they suffer from a lack of confidence like everyone else.
if a footballer's every move is jeered then they will either snatch at the simple or not want the ball all together.
look at the difference in QPR's performance when they were jeering their team compared to when they got behind their team when nolan (I think it was nolan) went off. night and day.

at our absolute best I think we are pretty awesome, the carling cup game when we played man city away (the best team in the country currently) and they couldn't even get out of their own half for the first 20 mins. but if you are missing chances all season eventually you will snatch at chances and become anxious if you fail to put away teams early and now there is just a lack of confidence from front to back. when we are on our game we play good football but the team's nerves are shot.
That game on Saturday was a disgrace, the players and manager need to hang there head in shame. Tactical decsions and effort were both poor. At times we made Wigan look like Barcelona. As for the players being tired were not even in Europe god help us next season with the added games that will bring. I just can't accept that as an excuse. We have seen many performances exactly the same as what we seen on Saturday. Kenny seemed to get a response when he slated the players after Bolton game. In my opinion the exact same thing should have been done after QPR not wrapping them in cotton wool.
We can't even say we were unlucky on saturday Wigan probably deserved to win on the day. 19th in the for table Jesus christ things have to improve fast in the next couple of games and if it doesn't happen...... Serious questions need to be asked.
Sterling looked good (we seen bloody lollipops haven't seen them since macca) and so did Shelvey, however I would like to see them start a game before the seasons out. Its easy to come on with 10 min to go when players are tiring but it will be intresting to see how they do against fresh players.

'this season' is harsh and basically a lie. recently we've been poor but this isn't a season long problem, just a few weeks ago we played arsenal off the park.
And got beat. Its not like we recently went 28 points behind 1st.
Not consistently though, we never press as a unit.
doesn't matter, performances are almost as important as the result. we should have taken confidence from the game as there were a lot of positives, what positives can we take from the wigan game?
we have done all the correct things at points this season (except score) now we aren't doing the correct things and it's hard to tell exactly what our tactics are, we're all over the place right now. my hope is that next season lucas and agger remain injury free (only playing in league games) and that we push on otherwise it's going to be more of the same.
It does bloody matter....Jesus Neal it doesn't matter how you perform the one and only important thing is the results. Thats it not the shots chances created, possesion had. Its the bloody score line and league posistion. And both at present is shit.
We weren't doing all the correct things though were we? If we did everything perfect apart from score our performances would have been a damn sight better.

the most important thing is the result, next (imho) is performance as it shows you are heading in the right direction. if you have a long term plan it is important implement your ideas and have the strength of your convictions otherwise any fixes will only be short lived. imho we're not doing the basics, we aren't getting the results OR putting in the performance so there is precious little positives to be had but my point is earlier in the season we were getting the performances but not the result. you said 'this season' and I don't think we've been rubbish all season long.
Swansea looked at times like Swansea at their very best. Fixed it for you. There's just no need for these silly exaggerations.
