Just seen that guy Diabete for Leicester - fucking hell - he looks good .. has he played that well in the PL ?

Did not watch the match as it was a 4 am match in our time zone!

Must be a historical statistic in that after beating the top team in the league, we immediately lost to the bottom 2 clubs.

It kills me to say it but without Coutinho we have lost an edge. Coutinho in midfield /on wings scared the pants out of opposition defenders. He could dribble right through them or make an eye of the needle pass to the forwards. He was two players in one, a playmaker and a maurading dribbler.

We've lost that edge now, and no one has the technical ability to continue the work that Coutinho did. We look predictable and ordinary in midfield. Now all you have to do is double mark Mane and Salah and you've taken away all the unpredictable creative ability we have. Klopp has to face it and replace quality with quality. I hope Lyon's Fekir is looking for houses in Liverpool soon.

A keeper isn't going to solve our problems. Just like VD hasn't solved anything either.
Like I said before, we need a complete overhaul.
To challenge for trophies next season. I'm talking competing with Man C.
We need three top class midfielders. we've got one in the bag. We need Clyne back or a new right back.
We need a new left back to compete with Robinson.
We need another striker.
We need a keeper as well.
Basically we need to spend like 200 mill.
Don't see us fixing this in one summer.

Or maybe we just need a new fucking manager? What ya think about that..?

Yeah, well who's ready to take on a project like Liverpool?
Klopp is a good manager but like other managers he's trying to force his style of play onto a league that just doesn't seem to suit it perfectly.
Instead of adapting, like getting a fucking DM he's forcing it.
I wish I could say that I can't complain about his attacking football but I just can't, it has flaws just like his defence.
I mentioned it earlier but it seems that the recipe for us winning is either our opponents play an open free flowing game of football or we score the first goal.
If that doesn't happen it's pretty much a coin toss. They score the first goal park the bus and we're fucked.

We saw the same shit happen against Burnley and others last season. So it's nothing new.

This time we scored the first goal and yet loss. They had 3 shot on target and scored 3 goals!

While I think Henderson is shite, he was far better than Can or Gini when he came on. He was actually kinda good.
He did make a difference ... the midfield looked like the had some level of control. Have no idea what the fuck Can and Gini were up to today...they were being cut through easily...to think WBA dont even have a Hazard type player.

Who'd have thought it.

Relax.

Hopefully, the owners might look at it sensibly and recognise that we haven't identified problem positions well, the squad's been strengthened but also weakened by the loss of a key player. We've done some building, perhaps we'll soon add a couple of big players to complete the squad and push on. Put these two losses behind us and lets see if we can get back in the thick of it and play something close to the brilliant football that served us so well for most of the last season and a half.

Then again, they could hit the panic button if they're nervous fools.

Ive said it before but we need Keita and 2 more midfielders. Can needs binning off to Juventus or whoever. The useless muppet just loses runners time and time again. The only good thing about wijnaldum is his smile.

Milner and Henderson physically won’t play 40 games a season but showed last night they can do it when needed.

I also want a new keeper and left back but that’s glaringly obvious.

Its a crazy thought I know, but the two last performances could have happened even if Coutinho was still at the club. Shocking I know.
That said, I’m inclined to pull the trigger on the Lemar deal and pay 10-15 mill extra to get him now. Just because I dont see anyone in the squad with the same playmaker qualities.

Yesterdays game shouldnt be quickly forgotten and I hope Klopp use it well before Tuesdays game.

I hope Mignolet and Moreno never plays for us again. Yesterdays performance were shocking.

I’d also start Klavan next to VVD. Matip was diabolical yesterday.

The Klopp out stuff, a proper manager etc. Fuck off with that shite though.

A Lemar / Fekir sort looks all the more pressing given these last two games. It's depressing to watch a midfield three devoid of the ability to beat a player through individual skill or imagination. To think we're bringing on Milner / Henderson when we're chasing a game.

Moreno was indeed terrible, brainless at both ends. Mignolet looks shot of confidence, as does Karius. A new keeper is a must.

Re the CBs, as I've said before, it has to be Lovren---Van Dijk for me. Lovren will improve for the shift to the right side (he never looks comfortable having to play left) and for not having to puff himself up into a leader role - I think he'll flourish alongside Van Dijk's confidence. Shifting Van Dijk (who has played LCB for seasons) to the right to accommodate Klavan seems absurd to me. Of course, we should probably also be going all out for another top level CB anyway.

Them desperate crosses during the game that landed in fosters arms nine time out of ten, I reckon we could sign crouch for a plan b as it’s obvious Klopp doesn’t have one.

Another early cup exit, klopp will be pleased the squad is fresh for Easter. I do wonder if we will ever win a trophy under klopp

Selling your best players regularly is a poor strategy for any club, doing it midway through the season and not replacing them betrays a total lack of ambition.

Is he blameless?

For the poor crosses? If he’s told the players to hit it high and without pace so Foster can collect them with ease, then he should be blamed. I, for some reason, doubt he has instructed the players with that tactic....
