They played very well. And Rodriguez and that Polish fella whose name I can’t spell were cracker. But, you know, fuck off Klopp/FSG etc.. cos I’m all dead angry like
West Brom were superb in every department especially in goal.
Having said that we didn't pressure them on the ball anywhere near enough and pretty much everyone had a bad night.

I'd love for us to win something again but I can't see it as being more important to the club than getting into the CL again.
Nobody is interested in a team that finishes 6th or 7th (as we have been doing) even if they win the odd domestic cup. We need to re-establish ourselves and that's done by being in the mix at the top of the table and playing in the CL year in, year out.
I'm totally fed up with the deficiencies of this team, as is everyone, but it is what it is right now. As we know already, it's a huge summer for Klopp and co.

It would be nice if we signed some players. Especially a keeper with arms and stuff. But I’d rather us be pathetic ent and buy quality players than the Andy Carrolls of this world

Patience is fine and all but there needs to be a balance.
This season felt like a write off from the get go - waiting for Coutinho to leave and Keita and VVD to arrive. I don't think we can afford another one.
I don't think a title challenge or a trophy is necessary, just a way forward for this team. A solid base from which to build.
We haven't had that for a long time.
A keeper isn't going to solve our problems. Just like VD hasn't solved anything either.
Like I said before, we need a complete overhaul.
To challenge for trophies next season. I'm talking competing with Man C.
We need three top class midfielders. we've got one in the bag. We need Clyne back or a new right back.
We need a new left back to compete with Robinson.
We need another striker.
We need a keeper as well.
Basically we need to spend like 200 mill.
Don't see us fixing this in one summer.
