The thrilling performances are largely down to his tactics, and the very precise instructions he appears to give to attacking players. Most other managers leave the attack down to instinct and focus upon defensive organisation, but Klopp does the total opposite. That's not good for being successful, but so far it's made our attacking players improve and start looking world class, when really it's mostly down to them being coached in a way that it's harder for them to fuck up. World class attacking players generate far more revenue than playing in the champions league. Salah is already £100m plus. I wouldn't be surprised if we repeat the trick with his eventual replacement. As long as that money keeps rolling in, I think his job will be safe and secure.
There’s not one attacking player, amongst many Klopp’s coached at Liverpool, that’s been as prolific as Salah. That’s cause he’s an exceptional talent.

Plus it's also not how it works. The M.O. is that someone bids for one of the players, we reject it in big flouncey terms, then sell next summer/transfer window. So we've got Salah for another year to 18 months at least.

EDIT: Dantes got there first.

Oh yeah. Silly me.

And then we can watch everyone saying he wouldn't want to move to Barcelona/ Real/ whoever, as he won't get a game/ loves Liverpool/ wants to win a trophy with us and that he wasn't that great anyway, and we don't need to replace him because we've got Solanke/ Oxlade-Chamberlain/ Ben Woodburn.

And he's being told precisely how best to use his talent, and supported in doing so. At most other clubs he'd be left to attack as he saw fit, with little support or encouragement, and god forbid he failed to track a runner, or stood in the wrong position when we didn't have the ball. That approach is why Klopp is the perfect manager to add financial value to attacking players.

So say, we finish 6th & crash out the CL against Porto and throw in a mix of abject and thrilling performances he should be completely safe?

Ive read that hes pushed the Kirkby development, dont know how integral he is to the change but I think Pearce suggested he was the key driver behind the development/ upgrade
Klopp will still be here next season regardless of how good or bad our season goes. We get rid of him and replace him with who? Whoever it will be it will be a backwards step IMO because i can't imagine another top manager wanting to come here.

I would guess that Gerrard will take over as a 'caretaker', and duly politic his way into the job full-time when as you say no other top managers bother to apply.
