Am I upsetting you Steve? Obviously. Please don’t let it. Put the Spider-Man trilogy on there and play with your R2D2.
Hahahahaha.... upsetting me???
Hahahahaha... is that what you're hoping for.
To "upset" me. Awwww bless.
Poor the Raz.

I think the worst thing about enduring that fucking debacle on Saturday was that it was so bad it gave you the impression it wasn’t an isolated performance. It reeked of January 12 months ago when you watched us and couldn’t figure out where and when the next win was going to come from. We’ll be fucking rubbish now for the next month, you just know it.
I don’t think it’s a signing (or lack thereof) issue either. We’ve been watching that horrible triumverate of shite goalkeepers, width-less attacking, and fucking dreadful conceded goals for a decade now. Thomas Lemar, or Mahrez, or whomfuckingever isn’t going to fix that for 70M-odd quid. It’d give us one less thing to complain about, but that’s it.
Mahrez would be ace.
But a defence that wasn't shitting itself all the time and a midfield as good as any in the top half of the table would be preferable.
Mahrez would be ace.
Haven't City bought this mythical French Iberian defender who dribbles like Messi, passes like Xabi, defends like Carra, and heads like Hyppia for 70 million?
Again I would like to emphasize that I am not crying because we are not competing with Utd and City in the transfer market. We have some obvious flaws in our squad which could be addressed with some aggression in the transfer market within our budget.
Simon Mignolet has played 202 games for our club. That is at least 152 games more than what he should have played. The goalkeeping issue should have been fixed and we are still paying the price for having two clowns in goal. We could have had atleast 3-6 points more with a competent goalkeeper.
By the way, he got a new contract soon after he did this:
If we offered him a new contract despite that and all the other evidence in front of us, then there is only one conclusion to be made "We're dickheads".
Btw @Hansern, I know you get a lot of heat from other posters for your constant positivity 🙂, but I do admire that. While I do a disagree with a number of your posts, I wish I could be as positive as you, but I am unable to 😉
City havent bought anyone, yet. But they probably will get Laporte. Arse will get Aubameyang and Spurs Lucas Moura.
I wouldnt say I’m overly positive these days mate, but thanks. 🙂
I have an issue with Ming and Moreno and still feel we need another signing this window.
That said I’m not looking at form for the last 3 games and getting all worked up. Several others are constantly shifting between that we’re either very good or very shite. Either praising us or having a go. Some middle ground would be make more sense, and is probably were I am these days. Thinking that we’re on the right path but there will be set backs along the way.
As for other posters giving me heat its usually the same ones. Mark, he you can have a discussion with and he’s sensible. Ross, is just Ross. Terrified of not being correct all the time. And Brendan, who is just weird really.
Cant say I’m to bothered mate...
The new Arsenal, minus the cups and fourth.Great.Well.... maybe we are the new Arsenal after all.
A manager that never seems to address the obvious flaws, mostly prefers developing players over splashing the cash.
We'll celebrate finishing 4th every year.
We'll play some lovely football pre-Xmas and post Easter.
Our season will generally end in Feb when we are bumped out of whatever cup competitions we're left in and successfully allow our pretence of a title challenge peter out.
Our best players will continually leave for more successful teams.
Every now and then we'll win a cup.
Sad thing is.... it would be an improvement on the last 5-6 years...

Over the last 5 seasons we have been outspent in NET terms by Bournemouth, Brighton, Everton, Watford, West Brom, Leicester, West Ham, Palace, Arsenal, Chelsea, United as well as City.
At least we are top of one table we have sold players for £419m over the last 5 seasons.

But as was pointed out when a different version of that table was posted, it is massively skewed by the sale of Coutinho. Without that we would be in 4th place. Or if you take VVD into account as well we would be in 6th placeOver the last 5 seasons we have been outspent in NET terms by Bournemouth, Brighton, Everton, Watford, West Brom, Leicester, West Ham, Palace, Arsenal, Chelsea, United as well as City.

And Everton's is skewed by the sale of £90m Lukaku and City's / United's by the fact they rarely sell their best players at their prime .... and so on. You can't suddenly decide who is in and who is out based on their sale price. Even if Coutinho were £90m instead of £140m it wouldn't make that much of a difference. But as was pointed out when a different version of that table was posted, it is massively skewed by the sale of Coutinho. Haha ! Amended. I'm surprised I didn't say Cyril Regis since he's topical.I hate that The Ev got 90 for Bentekkers when we only got 17.
What counts is the present market value of the squad. That value relative to our rivals is higher than it's ever been, so FSG deserve some credit for being able to add value in other ways than spending money. It's just a shame that all of that value is concentrated into three positions, with the remainder of the squad being utterly worthless. Maybe this is what they're doing, they've figured out you get the most return on investment upon attacking players, so they're deliberately cannibalising our defence and diverting every ounce of their effort into generating good attacking assets.
That can't be fucking right.Over the last 5 seasons we have been outspent in NET terms by Bournemouth, Brighton, Everton, Watford, West Brom, Leicester, West Ham, Palace, Arsenal, Chelsea, United as well as City.

Sakho 30MThat can't be fucking right.
120m for Phil, 80m for Suarez is 200m
Where has the other 220m in sales come from?
Sterling was 50m still leaves 170m to account for.
