Sunderland Southampton just kicked off, nil nil currently, some decent footy on display in the first five minutes.
Sunderland 1 nil up.
There's 16k fans there apparently, tickets were £15 for adults & £5 for kids.
I cat imagine they wouldn't have sold out at £5 an adult & £1 per kid, they'd have made about the same on tickets, had a full ground & almost certainly have doubled the merchandise/food/drink sales, as well as possibly getting some young local fans interested in the team leading to long term profit of every kind.
It's just poor business sense.

Well in answer to Nir.B. Yes you can. One is the FAC and if you want to set one price for the FAC and another for the PL then that really isn't an issue.
Jon. Never mind the prices (and is £15 for adults & £5 for children steep now ?) .... how the hell can Sunderland not fill a ground for the quarter-finals of the FAC ! That is disgraceful support (unless there are weather related reasons why people couldn't make it).
Well let's see if they get a home draw first before trying to fill the Stadium of Light for the quarter final
Adrian Chile's on Mourinho :
"I'm not sure what we'd do without him"
Fuck off you fat, witless, feckless cunt.
I am really, really surprised that nobody has mentioned the thread title.
Gams indeed
I see with Sunderland through to the quarter finals our match against them due on Monday March 10th will now have to be played on a different date.
As a by the way, can Borini play against us in the cup if we were to meet them?
