He's trying to justify a big transfer fee, he's had two serious injuries already, he's often faced criticism for his weight, he's a manc.
Is it really possible for Mourinho to go in there and cause a shitstorm this early? Surely Alex Ferguson and Bobby Charlton have some say in this? Just sounds like speculative bollox from journos to be honest. They will unfortunately turn it around but they are not a cert for top 4 imho.
That was already covered with the 'He's a manc' comment earlier.
I'd say the problem is both. Rooney's filling a position for which they now have better options. At the same time his status within the club will make it very hard to shift him.
