They really had Madrid on the back foot until Ronaldo's second goal - and even then, should have got an equalizer from Falcao. They have some really good players though, but same issues with their back four.
Madrid are really poor in the back.
I think Pepe may be the biggest cunt in world foobtall.
Yup. They have a very soft centre. I'm still amazed that despite spending a fortune in recent years they still have Perea at the back who is a fucking awful defender. They are in desperate need of a couple of defenders and a DM.
He was reverting to his old Manc days in that game - shooting every time he had an opportunity. Eventually it paid off. That second goal was class.
His FK is the first one I've seen him hit in a while. His last year for the Mancs, he scored a few like that. Since he moved to Madrid, he's just not been as good. Cracking player obviously.
Diego ... I think we should go after him Keni ... He's still class, and would come cheap. If we can motivate him - he could be fantastic behind Suarez.
Heh Diego was one of the players I used to advocate a lot whilst he was still at Bremen (along with erm.. Baptista before he moved to Madrid). He's a very talented player but as I said in the Vargas thread, I'm not sure Liverpool is the right place for players that need special treatment. The type of players we buy (Carroll aside) tend to be consummate professionals. Perhaps we should cast the net a little wider though! It'd be good to have a little more mercurial spark in the side.
