The conclusions you're drawing are bogus. Your reasoning is all over the place. You've written off Rodger's signings before they've completed a year here. You're constantly harping on about results against lesser teams as if cup shocks are unheard of. They're not. Every team will have its fair share of slip-ups over the course of a season, particular one with several new players and a new manager. Nobody was happy to lose to Oldham in the way that we did, but the reason people aren't topping themselves over it is because they've got one eye on the bigger picture. You're placing much more emphasis on negatives than positives, and it serves to discredit anything useful you might have to say.
Don't misunderstand me. I'm not suggesting I'm a better fan than you. I'm simply saying that there doesn't appear to be much evidence of your support. You seem to spend the vast majority of the time berating the club, the manager, and the players. It's like supporting the club is a burden to you, constantly marked by disappointment. Anyone would think the club did a Paddy on you or something. Face facts. We aren't the Liverpool of old, and I think it's about time you come to terms with that, and recognize that we're on a much longer road than you seem to think. By all means reminisce about the glory days, but don't use it as a stick to beat the new manager with.
